I have been a rabbit breeder for at least 11 years and.. You know your stuff! Yes I have had to do a lot of force feeding before. The part I hated the worst about rabbit breeding though was that, lots of times if my female was not comfortable/ready to be a mother she would ingest her kits. That part I really really hated. That is why I understand what you mean when you say you have to be VERY vigilant. I have caught at least 3 different mothers and taken away their babies before they ate them. I have bottle fed all of those :) . Thanks for your video! I just subscribed!

New subscriber here. I’m also here in the Philippines and raising animals but I dream of farming and being self sufficient also. Your videos are very inspiring and educational.. thank you for sharing your experiences. I do have a question. I’m wondering why don’t have any pigs on your farm? Have you considered maybe to raise pigs? You mentioned something about the water and getting a pump so you can move your fish to the farm.. I know how much this animal needs water but just want to know your opinion about raising pigs.. thank you again for all your hard work and sharing.. god bless you and your family

I always watch your videos, but I have to correct it rabbits are ovulator they dont experience heat cycle, ibig sabihin lagi silang in heat, probably yung sinasabi nyu sir dexter is stress, since if stress ang doe they will fight the buck, but not because they are not in heat.
@DextersWorld4 жыл бұрын
Well i respect because this is what we can read and learn in the study of science. But some doe even mated cannot ovulate and not get pregnant when they are not physically ready and thats what i qualify that it is during the heat period. Although they can be mated anytime but they will not always become pregnant when they are not ready.
@josephpacifico49114 жыл бұрын
@@DextersWorld ah yes sir Dexter thats indeed correct, and we call it hormone disturbance or imbalance, in our veterinary practice we force the doe to inject oxytocin a kind of hormone to induce sexual inclination specially in ruminants and swines, if the client really want to produce since in big farms they want synchronize birth in goats or sow, but most of time we just advised them to wait for the doe for the right condition, since in this times we do not recommend oxytocin in rabbitry, natural reproduction is still better.
