Good to see you up and running .. in style! You mentioned in the last video before the storm that there were somethings you did not like about the DEYE ? What did you do with the Schneider ? :) I have an XW Pro and if I moved to an EV, I would be faced with similar choice. Good to see your experience!

@@ejemm hey, yes 1. When the fan comes in there is a high pitch that comes on with the fan, so if you have it where you are it will be a bit annoying. 2. Just couple of hours after I started using the unit, the plastic that cover the button created a bubble 3. It cannot communicate with my EG4 batteries. After contacting them they told me to have EG4 make that request. Did not try as yet. I sold the unit I took down. From when I am seeing now, I will need at least 4 more 550w panels, for when am charging the car.

@@djdujon2009 : Keep up the content and good work ! Plenty of inspiration on this channel. I was never a crossover fan, but that Yuan Plus have me quite interested. I see on Eg4's site that the lifepower Communication hub now supports DEYE on the CANBUS port.

I was wrong about the bubble, I just needed to remove to clean plastic that covered the screen.

The BYD Atto 3 has a useable battery capacity of about 60 kWh. How long does it normally take for your system to fully charge the car?

@@PLUGINJAMAICA down to 0, I would say about 8 hours with the 7kw charger, and it depends on the time of day, if the sun is too hot might take longer, due to the cooling system sometimes turns on, I guess to keep the car cool. In the night it might go faster. I will try to do a video.
