I'm not saying what he is doing to her is right, but don't get it twisted 9 times out of 10 when a female gets pregnant she ends up being the primary care taker for that child if the couple splits. In this situation T.I. will be taking care of both her and the baby. That's why the situation is a little different then the boys IMO.

She's seems like a beautiful soul, who's sensitive and gentle. Like she's has to constantly push down her feelings with no one there to turn to. And the cousins may mean well, but they seem to be off in their ability to truly comfort and love her. They seem like they're meddling. TI seems out of touch with handling women issues. Either way, who goes to the gyno with their dad? Why couldn't Mom go or an Aunt or Grandma? It seems like there's more going on here, than meets the eye. I went to the gynecologist for the first right before I went to college when I was 18. I can’t imagine going before the age of 18. Wow! I’m glad Deyjah is being supported by the women around her.🙏💙

I have a dad exactly like TI and I completely understand where Deyjahs coming from when she expresses that it’s hard to relay emotions to him. Narcissistic parents- cause that’s exactly what he is- ALWAYS think their feelings and opinions are the most important feelings and opinions above anyone else’s. They never want to admit when they’re wrong and eventually you learn that in order to keep the peace with them it’s better to keep your hurt and negative emotions to yourself in order to keep up the false allusion of positivity. Dad’s like this are especially harder on their daughters because they attribute being a protector and a provider for their child as being synonymous with possessiveness and control. It truly is a very thin line with them. And unfortunately it doesn’t really get easier to talk to them as you get older.

Peaceful Beginnings No, never that. The protective/possessive part is more so like Mama bear mode on x100 To them everything outside of their teachings and their parenting feels like a threat to your safety. These are the type of dads who would 100% wrap you in bubblewrap and keep you in a protective hamster ball if they could as long as it means you’re safe. It may seem nice and caring to an outsider, but ultimately the manipulation and refusal to let you experience ANYTHING hinders your growth and you end up missing out on vital developmental experiences. While I definitely don’t think MY dad would have gone that far, mainly because he’s never been the type to discuss those sort of things with me, I do understand TI’s strange reasoning as to why he thought it was ok. He thinks that this is what an active parent does. And no one has ever provided that boundary for him. He’s equated his daughter’s virginity with him being a good father. For him: Virginity= great dad No virginity= Failure

Deyjah expressed her feelings & it's what I've thought all along, she's always in the background & feels like because she's not going after anything in the entertainment industry that she's a wallflower. Watching 1st couple of seasons, you can see this. I'm so glad she's starting to use her voice. I know this situation is old now. But I hope he saw how he made his daughter feel. This was heartbreaking and she clearly has feelings she was never able to address with him. I hope for her sake she can heal from all her trauma and move on and not let those scars affect her adult life. Life is too short as it is.
