I met Dezarie before her first US show this year and I told her how much we love the new songs like “Breathe In Strength” and “Trample Di Beast” all dem tunes deh. She told me “really? Ok well keep an ear out for Matrix” and then later during the show they played it. I tell you she had all the Rasta in the crowd chanting so hard. Can’t wait for the song to be officially released. Thank you for footage of the song. Love how excited you get after she performs it!

Imagine my surprise when out of nowhere she posted that she had a show at a tiny vineyard to kick off her US tour earlier this year, 90miles from my place. After 15yrs of bumping Dezarie I couldn’t believe it. And it was such a tiny venue that she was walking around during the opening acts so I got to hold a reasoning with gracious mama Africa, took pictures, and I told her she has a massive fanbase in Africa
