Idk if anyone explained it yet but you pointed out how it looks like they’re dancing on a ruined version of the DNA set. This is actually true bc RM said that the last album focused on the beautiful parts of love but this one focuses on the darker sides. The snickers in Hobi's scene might compensate for the pills in his MAMA short film in WINGS. Some of the snickers are painted with red or yellow paint. The pills in MAMA were yellow and red. To me it seems like they are trapped in some kind of purgatory, constantly having to relive their various traumas while being cut off from each, kind of trapped in their own personal hell ever since Blood, Sweat and Tears. The earlier videos where they are always together is when they were alive, until I Need You and Run where they seem to have killed themselves. The hooded figure at the end appears to be the guy Sugar shakes hand (made a deal with?) with at the start of Fire. V looks like he's in Hell, the way the video descends to show where is.

The theory makes a lot of sense, and the things BTS have said about this album tie in. I'm curious where you feel Euphoria fits in time-wise, since at the end Jin seemed to have finally healed the other members (while sacrificing his own happiness). Is this MV before Euphoria, or just separate time line?

I don't think Euphoria is the end of it. We've had multiple 'restarts' but they all seem to lead to the same place - even Euphoria. At the end, there's Korean writing that says something like, "Is that it, hyung? Isn't there something more that you're hiding from us?" And then we see Jungkook getting hit by the car. It's very possible that everything repeating in different ways but ending up in, more or less, the same place is just /Jin's/ version of purgatory u.u

I don't think Euphoria is the end either. Its almost like a time loop/parallel universe (see the Japanese Blood Sweat and Tears Video). Like I said it seems like they're constantly being forced to relive their traumas. Even though Jin seems to have traded places with V, he still has the flower in this video which he's now trying to protect (don't know what the flower represents). J Hope is surrounded by Snickers and fairground rides, reminding him of when his mother abandoned him as a child. Sugar is still having to watch his piano burn (I think his house burned down when he was a kid, along with his favourite piano). Jimin is still drowning. Unusually, Jungook now seems to be the one who is separated and trapped, almost as a parallel to Jin in Blood Sweat and Tears. V killed his dad so perhaps that's why he's being punished. Notice his outfit with the white straps kinda looks like chains on a prisoner. Plus the phones around him call back to the phone call he tried to make to RM after killing his dad and at the police station after having been caught. I think each of their relationships with the girls in 'her' fell apart because they didn't love themselves. That's why their outfits and the set looks like a faded, worn out version of the DNA video.

5:58 the Save Me is an ambigram which is a word, art form, or other symbolic representation that holds a meaning when viewed or interpreted from a different perspective. Turning it opside down and you'll see the words I'm Fine. It's used to address depression, anxiety and suicide, and it's like having a secret message and illusion, because people can see it as "I'm fine" but in reality that person should be saved at all costs. It is so inspiring that BTS used the ambigram to speak about the real life struggles and mental illness, and it's a great relation to their Love Yourself concept - like a reminder to all of us that we should love ourselves. No matter what the flaws we have and things we are dealing with.

The snickers is actually a visual metaphor for his "happy pills" (antidepressants) 'You Aren't you when depressed'! But in reality he keeps needing the snickers (pills) and relies on them so much they make him not himself.. It gives him a false happiness and sense of reality. And he feels trapped because he only feels better taking those snickers.

You might have noticed how isolated Jin’s character is compared to the other members in the MV’s. He’s often staring into space or taking photos while the other members are busy hanging out together. Or if they’re all together, none of them interact with Jin, it’s almost like he isn’t actually there. And in the HYYH series there’s a clip at the end of the Prologue where Jin has a Polaroid he took of himself and all the other members but when he looks at it after it’s fully developed, he’s the only one in the photo. My theory for this is all the other members are either dead or just no longer in Jin’s life. And him taking all those photos and videos in the earlier MV’s is actuallyJin remembering the past and desperately trying to hold onto his memories of when they were all happy together, I feel my theories further proven when he talks about “the six flower petals he holds in his hand” in his solo song, Awake, on the wings album (six petals for the other six members) In his short film for wings, you see him holding six flower petals that he burns and they turn into six Polaroid pictures, each one representing a member. And it even carries on into the Fake Love MV when he’s doing everything can to protect the flower he has a jar, while everything else around him is being destroyed. He’s desperately trying to deny the reality that all the other members are gone now and he’s alone. There’s a lot of speculation on what exactly is going on with Jin’s character. But I like the theory of him being able to control time and he keeps changing things in order to try and have a different outcome where everyone is still alive and together and happy. In the Euphoria video he switches places with Taehyung and jumps off the tower instead, sacrificing himself in order to save Taehyung. I think that’s what we see actually happening at the end of the Prologue because when you see Tae jump, everything suddenly stops with Tae mid air and it all turns black and white. I think that’s showing Jin stopping time so he can take Tae’s place. I could go on for ages about this but that’s the main jist of what’s going’s on with Jin’s character in my mind so there ya go. Maybe these long ass comments will help you piece the other parts of the story together. I have theories about all the other members too but I’ve already written a novel so I’ll stop here.
