So much of his stuff reminds me of the Factory/BeMusic flirtations with soul and funk in the 80s and 90s, but he does it better... with sequences nailed to the floor with spikes as the man said... this record is not a total triumph, but the best tracks are wonderful... cheers, Mister MacLean!!!
