I rushed over to Topolino's for opening time (I think 7:30am) to see if they could help me out and seat me early. Luckily they could. One chaperone was doing this with a rowdy group of about a dozen teenagers. I stopped him and suggested that those of us already waiting in line for the last 30 minutes would be happy to allow the small group ahead to come back and join their friends at the back of the line, without trampling on the landscaping, and we can each wait in line together. I didn’t make a fuss, but they settled down. Most of them returned. Through the landscaping again. Which could have gotten them kicked out.

Commenting on the backpack one, the Loungefly bags seem small but do not underestimate them! Yes, they're expensive, I know. I absolutely love Ducktales, been a fan of it my entire life pretty much so when I saw Boxlunch had this awesome Ducktales backpack, I put it on my wants list for my birthday, my family never knows what to buy me because I have weird interests they don't understand so I give them a list & they pick from it. That backpack was the most expensive item on my list so I didn't think I'd get it but hey, I did & just before I went on a small trip back to my home city. I moved like a year in a half ago & travel back sometimes for appointments & such. Anyways, this trip was for a concert because I had concert tickets for summer of 2020 that got delayed to October 2021 due to the pandemic & my birthday is the end of September so I got the backpack within perfect timing of that trip. I'm the sort that always likes to be prepared for things & wanted to try out the new backpack for a small trip to pack things I'd need. Not only did it fit everything but I had extra room to store a concert shirt I bought while there & still had bonus room. For a Disney World trip, there's clearly more than you would be packing but I'm sure my little backpack can stand up to the job plus it's Ducktales! I love a lot of the Disney Afternoon & although my trip is over a year in a half away (maybe even longer), I want to show my love for the shows from the Disney Afternoon because I remember back when I went to Disneyland in 2002, I absolutely flipped out over Gadget having her own ride in Toontown, since I was a bit too young for Disney Afternoon (was 11 during my 2002 Disneyland trip), most of my friends didn't know the shows so I was convinced Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers was obscure which it's not but when you're the only one of your friends who knows it, including the Disney obsessed party you traveled with, it feels like that. I'm happy to show my love for something that doesn't get as much attention as other areas of Disney does & actually, the Loungefly bags are good for that. I've seen so many of them during my trips to Boxlunch that was like "whoa, I thought they forgot that exists!" So yeah, another reason to pick one up, love something that doesn't get enough merchandise? See if there's a Loungefly bag for it then save your money or request it as a present for a holiday or birthday. Granted, Ducktales does see a lot of love, especially with the reboot, there was fabric released for it so people have been using that to make customized things such as this amazing Ducktales face mask I bought off of etsy, I love the reboot as well so it works out. Actually was buying some books on Disney World at Barnes & Noble, wearing my Ducktales face mask yesterday, never been to Disney World so I want to be extra prepared & the person at checkout asked me if I went to Disney often & I told him I wish I did. He then said he assumed I did due to all the pins I had on me plus the Ducktales mask. My bag I use for my wallet & things I want to whip out quickly has a window on it so I can show off my pins. It's actually an assortment from my 2002 trip, stuff I bought online, & presents I got from my Disney loving friends, I found a whole group of friends who are super into Disney when I was in high school & we still keep in touch. Actually just spent a week making Minnie Mouse ears for these friends.

I’ve been to WDW a ton over the past few years, and the people cutting line saying “my party is right up there” has gotten SO BAD the last 6 months. Last month it happened to me 3 rides in a row! If you got split from your party, they can step to the side and wait for you to catch up. Don’t be that person who thinks moving up in line is cool. It’s not.

Yes it was bad over the summer at DW and Universal. If you see one person in front of you on their phone chances are they are waiting to tell someone they are close to the ride and to join them. Employees will do nothing about this.

I once had the stomach flu. We had lunch reservations at 50’s Prime time. My husband showed up two hours in advance, and canceled our ADR,they did not end up charging us.

We use Nuun tablets. It’s a Gatorade electrolyte product but without all the sugar. It’s a tube of dry tablets, and you just add a tablet to a bottle of water and shake it up. We love them.

Himalayan salt works best for electrolytes. Some tricks, if you drink coffee in the morning put a few pinches in your coffee not only do you get electrolytes it takes the bitterness out of the coffee. I even add it to my water when I’ve been on the 🚑 working the beach area.

It's a good idea to print your park reservations and bring the paper with you. The reservation system has been a nightmare with people's reservations disappearing from their app. Having the print out as proof has saved some of my clients from being turned away at the gate.

Also know that Disney no longer brings the Floral and Gift orders to your room. This includes the decorations. You must set them up yourself.

you can also add salt to just regular water for the electrolytes. you dont need a ton, but a pinch or two for a normal sized waterbottle is good

I am from a country where drugs are highly regulated and it's crazyyy to me that you can just buy advil at a hotel gift shop. By the way if you ever go to disneyland paris you won't be able to buy any medications there and as far as I know there is no pharmacy delivery.

I learned I like walking and snacking at Disney. Eating at a restaurant is too much food for me, especially Ohana. I also need to spend more money on a preferred room since I was walking a long time just to get to my room.

Seeing that myself and my party are guilty of at least a quarter of the things you said NOT to do I think I'll be doing a bit more research before next time

For Electrolytes, there is a really good powdered electrolyte drink called LiquidIV. It's delicious they have so many flavors, and each packet is equal to 3 water bottles. All you need to have is water, it's very low on calories too, but it tastes really good.

The best way is to rent a motel 6 outside Disney for $70 a night. Then rent a car and drive into Disney world. Also spend some time driving around Kissimmee and Orlando. There are so many things outside of Disney that is so entertaining.

When training for and doing my full and half marathons I carried salt packets with me. When the electrolytes go to low, I would lick my hand or dump water on it then dump the salt on my wet hand then lick it off. It is gross and tastes nasty but it is better than an electrolyte crash!

For those people who want a cheaper hotel to stay at, it’s not owned by Disney or in the Disney Bubble, but it’s also not miles away from any of the parks at all. It’s the Rosen Inn on International Drive. I stayed there on my first trip to Florida for Disney World and Universal Studios, and it was perfect and the price for the room was cheap and affordable. The only downside to it is if you don’t drive, is all the money spent on Uber or Lyft to and from the parks, but it didn’t cost me too much and I was there for 2 weeks.
