I'm surprised they did this. It reminds me of Noel EX and how they brought CHAOS Coop for the first time and it was near impossible without him. Love the challenge and synergy!

Really brings out the coop in a shinryu coop like damn the three was able to work together to do big brain damage. Perhaps that’s why they added this to see if this level of difficulty was enough to make coop. Well coop. Nice vid tho and happy early New Years

On one hand, holy cow the drops on this. On the other, 15 minutes for a single run is such a slog. Add to that the way you actually need a good team and everyone to work together (despite not having any communication features besides stickers) and this definitely doesn't seem like something to do with random players. Maybe a group on discord, though...

I needed to beat with some reddit friends because with randoms so far the experience for me was horrible and when finally found a team twice with enough potential and good team work, the game bugged out both times and felt the biggest rage I have felt in quite the long time when in one we were 10% away from victory. The premise is good but is not fun when people are selfish or the game breaks. Also, in one team we found out that Reno FR+Luna BT+Leo Call LD+Terra LD glitches the game and basically speaking it gives you the effects of LD calls and BT even when their duration expired. That run almost got me a real team win but the game got sooo glitched it broke, it was fun tho, really big fat numbers and it seemed like it is a bug/glitch that is not only found of Co-op as I managed to do it again on CoD FR Shinryu stage with almost the same results. So my guess is that they are testing this new level of co-op to see how viable it is and how the game faces the challenge because so far, this has allowed some pretty fun glitches

My first shinryu experience be like: 3 lunafreya and died on first 79% cause lunafreya B has WOL call but decided to use base CA instead of LDCA lol

One mistake and you are gone. Just found a dumb Terra keep spam skill on Ultimicia without having freeze debuff on until she's warping her turn and kill the whole team good riddance lol.

I doubt someone getting through Shinryu makes a fatal mistake, as everyone knows what to do... I might expect a mistiming on certain skills cause they might not know the other kit, but that's about it I fondly remember Eald'Narsche co-op & specially Vaan BT co-op because of that... sharing your knowledge while trusting your teammates (And cheering with stickers along the way ofc, had you seen my avatar?) it's a great experience... But until that repeats I'll keep quiting any co-op that Burst cause now it's just a shore instead of a experience as how easy it is (GL) Hope you "recruit" great players during the co-op, and keep having fun

A perfect run take you 15min and the shortest I've seen is slightly over 8mins. And with bad teammates your entire run could take 30mins. I really hope SQEX will add chatting function if this were to come often.

@@Stimpy123 well, those players probably deserve it if that happens but most importantly is for communication purposes. Especially when turn warp is involved or you're want your teammates to setup properly before going BT phase etc.

After seeing this, it isn't so bad. Since I just Burst in Chaos co-op to get the boss to finish it. But seeing this is actually pretty nice since your not the only one doing the work. A bit concerned on a simple mistake but probably a rare occurrence. Idk if this is balanced but this looks good in a good way.

The most MVP is actually counter units. They ensure Ultimecia never got 3 consecutive turn.

This co-op is horror LMAO. Then again its fun. You need not only three people with units that counter Ultimecia warps (no need to be specifically Yang, Luna; as you can see Ace, Tidus or in my case, Kain works too) but also not easily gives up midway when things go south. What dangerous is LD spammers. Terra players tend to do this. Good if it happen within Force Time, but at most times not. LOL.

I played with a friend yesterday without counter unit but use Leon LDCA instead work like a charm lol. I run some random comp like Luna, Cecil, Jegran both has delay LDCA with Leon LDCA And many more I have so much fun honestly.

I like coop, but i am afraid to even attempt Shinryu coop... I beat this Shinryu 1st try. But I don't know other players style. And i don't know all characters buffs. What character is preferred? Fully maxed Lunafreya, Terra, Zack or Tidus?

@@dstar9016 It was stressful. I waited an hour for someone to show up for SHINRYU coop. So I solo'd it and beat it. Second run it took forever for someone to show up. So I had to play with one friend, and he wasn't that strong, so I carried him through and beat it. Third time no one showed for almost half an hour, so I solo'd again and beat it. It's stressful waiting just for someone to show up.
