Gates!! Make sure to do at at least one refill in gate keys everyday since it's cheap. Whales actually do 3-4 refills a day because gates are pretty much the only way you can consistently get all the shadow upgrade materials. After that, just make sure to do your Battlefield of Time weekly. Try to get to top 3 on your server with the meta strategies if you can. Even if you don't, you still get some of those BoT currency anyway. Prioritize getting shadow traces from the shop using those BoT tokens. Those are more valuable than even the draw tickets early on. Other than that, it's just events and codes whenever Netmarble releases them. For example, the treasure hunt event actually gives quite a lot of shadow materials if you do them everyday. Shadow materials are probably the most annoying thing to farm this game. It just takes time. If you're mega whaling, get those lucky boxes because those drop a lot of shadow energy you need to level your shadow.

@TalkingBenRealYT the game is nerf to the ground for global f2p players it took us 8 or 9 months to reach to your current power. Just do your dailies and improve cores, shadow, armory, dupes etc and it will improve your power

No need to hard at it just play casually do your dailies, gates, artifact dungeons as you level up it will get easier and focus on one team to make it your staple and youre good no need to go super hard.
