Matt did good. He is a great basketball player and basketball wise doesn’t deserve any hate. Only reason why I could see him not “standing out” is because of how quiet he is and he doesn’t talk a bunch. He just puts his head down and grinds. Respect. Deallen, is also super super skilled. I loved the last game where he made those quick decisions and didn’t go full speed dribble dribble dribble. Don’t get me wrong, that pace is very difficult to guard but it’s very satisfying to see him simplify it into a more useful way of play for a real game. Love it!!

each time we see de allen play, there are glimpses of another gear he has. so far he has been respectful tho somewhat deferential (which is a credit to his good nature and quiet confidence), but i for one am hoping de allen can take over and assert his game consistently. Based on what he said about the bad 4 dribble record up till this point, sounds like thats something hes conscious of. There's really no doubting the skill level ... consistently creates some the cleanest looks out of anyone on the fam and, once the shot starts to fall (as consistently as his form suggests it should), he's going to be dominant

Man I was really hoping Matt was gonna win this. He honestly had most of the momentum defensively until I think he may have tweaked his ankle and fatigue may have set in which caused him to take a few critical plays off that actually gave DeAllen the game. Matt looks wayyy more shifty now even since his last 1v1 at the JuCo arena which goes to show how hard working he is. If Matt's shot would have fallen more in the 2nd and 3rd games like they did in the first game, I think he would've won this one. Love DeAllen's patience and pace through the physicality.
