Yeah, you’ve got to be practically riding the bears to get them to go aggressive, and even then they charge you then run off instead of trying to maul you.

Ron my boy, you're missing an outpost. Follow the trail in the crimson plains in the middle that goes east between the 5 lakes. The end of that path has a hidden outpost.

I caught several very hard and hard bears on grizzly island in a couple of hours. I pitched my tent on the island so I had not to run. It was between 5:30 and 8:30. Thank you for the tip, till now I only caught very easy bears in the center of the map.

Yeah at that first location, I found a level 8 grizzly I named Chad McGavin cause he was surrounded by 3 female bears all protecting him.

I don't know how. I'm new to the game, but, i suddenly stumbled apon a grizzly bear just when I was about to go to bed, and it looked like it had a fur of a much lighter colour, and after a hard and frustrating hunt, I got it, and it said it was a golden fur, but not big enough and such for it to be bigger score, but I felt amazing that I actually caught an animal that was slightly different.

This is absolutely crazy! Before I saw this guide it'd take me about an hour per bear. My first time at these locations and the first bear I bagged was a very high gold.

Grizzly bears are my arch nemesis no matter how hard i hunt for them the diamond always seems to elude me but the hunt continues i will try this out and grind until i find one... i love collecting albinos as well that grizzly will make a fine addition to anyones

Many thanks for the guide. Got a leucistic caribou and a mythical grizzly on my visit to Grizzly Island. One question though- I’m having trouble with herds respawning. When I reset the time and revisit there will just be one less animal in the pack. Do I need to go to a different map first or close the game or what?

once hunting pressure is built up you will need to lessen this. you do this by killing animals in different areas until the purple on your map dissapears in the location you want to hunt. basically go on a slaughter rampage somewhere then come back. also you can delete need zones if you kill the animals in those zones. so kinda pick and choose what you want to kill or go full rampage but you will have to go kill else where to erase it.

@@dgeesiogaming I placed a tent near by and kept sleeping till 5 am until I see a nice Grizzly. Literally on my third attempt, I bagged a 660kg, legendary level 9 Grizzly bear with a score of 68. It was my first Diamond bear. This spot is too OP lol, thank you soooo much.

You can also just place a tent and even a tripod on the bridge instead, much better view of the surroundings and you can see over the trees on both sides from the exact place spot you spawn in. Or just do both ! :D

the problem with this idea is your tent will vanish due to beavers eating it. so the island is the better place to put it.
