Dude, you got it at first sight!!! Dreamcatcher is amazing! The Trilogy with Scream, BOCA and Odd Eye is about Cyber Bullying, Hatespeech, Fake Comments in the social Networks. In BOCA you hear the line "Why you fill your precious time with hate? Too many angels dying now, I´m gonna change your mind". That´s a reference to a lot of suicides from KPop Idols and Korean Actors in the last 2-3 years. These three songs have a really deep message. But...the girls in the beginnig aren´t the same. The one with the pink hair is Gahyeon and the one with the dark hair a few scenes later is Yoohyeon

HOLD UP... Is iconic. DC has such complex musical transitions. It's really difficult to pull off multi-genre songs because 1 miss and the entire song would be ruined. But they nail it, every time. And your analysis is spot on.

Most underrated group in K-Pop. They have been getting a lot more attention lately and SK has been embracing Rock/Metal more and more every year. Dreamcatcher's entire catalog it amazing, there isn't any MV, song or Special clip I wouldn't recommend from them. Great group of ladies and talented AF lol. If I had to pick a song by Dreamcatcher that everyone should hear it would be "Deja Vu". That MV is ridiculously good and the song is outstanding. The pre-chorus music and lyrics give me chills haha. Yes, the girl who fired the arrow, Yoohyeon, did kill a version of herself. Your interpretation is so cool! I didn't think of the 2 girls being immune part but it makes a lot of sense. This is the second part of a trilogy (scream, boca and odd eye) and Dami, the deep voiced rapper always has warnings in her verses and seems pretty much untouched by the corruption, meanwhile Siyeon, the girl surrounded by the red taped busts ends the first and last song with darker versions of her lines. Spoilers for part 1 and 3, she has a scene during the bridge in scream where it looks like she was the victim of a witch hunt and Odd Eye has her more or less just casually sitting in the middle of chaos seemingly enjoying herself.

One thing I like about DREAMCATCHER is the ability to tell a story in their music. Boca is the second part of the 3part Trilogy. The first is scream then boca and lastly odd eye. Most of their song have a rock/metal influence you’ll feel rite at home with most of their song. But they are very Experimental with different geners

Great reaction, mate, you are on point! Boca means "mouth" in Spanish and Portuguese and is part 2 of the Dystopia trilogy, which deals with bullying and hate comments, in particular the online variant ("A trick behind a mask, a ridiculous freak" from Scream). Boca has the line "Too many angels dying now", which points to the effects those comments can have. Several Kpop idols have committed suicide in recent years, most likely because of cyber-bullying, but this is also about all the unnamed people who suffer from online bullies. A girlgroup tackling such a subject impresses the hell out of me. They literally go to war in this video and tell haters to go and shut their "Boca" in the lyrics. And the song is absolutely awesome!

Dayum, for a first time reaction you pretty much got the meaning spot on 👌 This is my favorite song out of the Dystopia trilogy (Boca is the 2nd song so check out Scream before and Odd Eye after) It really does sound like a battle song and that high note was sort of a final cry. I loved your analysis of this song. Dreamcatcher has a lot of depth in its lyrics and it still amazes me how undervalued it is in Korea, being much more popular in the rest of the world, and even winning several awards and ranking very high on the charts, which is not the case in its own country , where if you do not belong to one of the large production companies it is almost impossible to stand out.

Wow, I'm in love with your analysis! You really went deep and really do grasp a lot of the meaning behind it. Also props to you for being able to pay attention to the lyrics with everything going on on screen! There's always somewhat of a literal storyline going on within the MVs as well as the metaphors, and that kind of helps it all make sense. In the Dystopia trilogy (Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye), the members play the role of guardians/goddesses of the Tree of Language (hence the bleeding/crying gold, and the tree that keeps appearing in each video). In Scream, we see them kind of in their own mystical realm, learning about the hatred going on in our world and being angered by it, and getting ready for a battle. In Boca, we see they've come to our world and are trying to combat the negativity and make things better, and that's where the duality in the scenes comes in that you touched on-we see them both as these beautiful, magical guardians of the tree who are mourning for the people lost, and we see them as warriors and, like you said, going on the offensive. And Odd Eye takes place in the future where we see whether or not they've succeeded. Really enjoyed this video and hope you check out the other two parts of the trilogy! But also if you like metal, I'd definitely recommend their Japanese tracks. They always have a rock/metal element in their songs, but those ones tend to go harder. Also, the main rapper with the deep voice that you like is Dami, and the main vocal with the awesome belts is Siyeon ^^

I really appreciate you taking the time do a legitimately thorough analysis of this song! Dreamcatcher's entire Dystopia Trilogy (Scream, Boca, Odd Eye) is what really made me fall in love with them. I don't know what it is about Dreamcatchers but they connect to metalheads and those that like rock music more than any other groups do. They are 1 of only 3 groups that I buy albums of. I only started liking them when I found that one member liked Babymetal and another member liked Band-Maid. Always love me some Siyeon. She has some incredible covers.

This is the best reaction to any song in the Dystopia trilogy I have seen on the internet. You are not just hearing the song to react to it, but you are actually listening to the meaning of the lyrics, to the instrumentals and trying to figure out the story they tell and how they add to the story the lyrics tell. And you did it with so much respect for not just the music, but for the girls as well. I would really love to see your reaction to both Scream and Odd Eye, since they are also part of the trilogy.
