Jennie is actually the main rapper in the group but I think the reason why she’s always singing in their song is because her voice is really needed for their songs. However I hope she could show her full potential as a rapper because she’s really an amazing rapper and she trained 6 years for that and her hard work shouldn’t be wasted, I mean everyone knows she loves rapping because it builds her confidence on stage so they should really give Jennie what she deserve. you're right about JENNIE and LISA duality they're well know and beloved for that . at first when i saw JENNIE for the first time my first impression was " she seems a very cold blood ice princess " little bit to arrogant but she's not like that at all . don't misunderstand me she's GORGEOUS and she know that but she's just to shy ,and scardy cat real life . LISA is the definition of what mean the word SWAG but she's a true ball of cuteness real life . JISOO is just JISOO a very goofy and confident girl. Rosé is the most feminine girl the most girly amoung all of them she's also very confident but she's not shy at all she's the most concfident amoung all of them to talk with stranger .

Like you my K-Pop journey started out with Blackpink. Then I discovered all these other girl group that absolutely killed everything. But everytime I come back to Blackpink I'm reminded how special these girls are and how they stand head and shoulders above everyone else. Jisoo has been criticized for her dancing (which was always good), so it was great to see her stand out in this choreography. Many pro dancers have noted that. It shows that her - and all of the girls - have not rested on their success, but have continued to work on their dancing, singing, rap, performance, etc. Great artists get better with time.

As much as a absolutely love Jennie , we can all see that YG is pushing Lisa more and more into the Rapper of the group. I mean for commercial reasons , she as that old school swag rap vibe which is very marketable right now. Same as her image, she comes off a little more " outcast" than the other members. Like more of a "wild card" if i can say so. Which is again very marketable specially towards a more hip-hop inclined audience.

I am really happy that you mentioned the part that it sounds great that it basically "changed" to Jennie being the rapper and Lisa the singer it is something that I would like to hear more. That is why we want Jennie to rap again she is so talented in rapping. You might as well just look at a Jennie rap compilation which includes pre debut :) No tracks really Highlight the skill she has whichvis the reason why Jennie is the main rapper. Which ppl tend to forget and sometimes saying that Jennie doesn't deserve the position.... That is really upsetting that it got so out of control just because YG can't really manage 2 rappers or whatever. They were the revolution before them yes we had 2NE1 and others but no one outside of Korea knew who they were. I came to this Korean rabbit hole through BLACKPINK had no idea who any others were apart from G Dragon he was already known among the music world. They showed the rest of the GIRL GROUPS that they to can be more than a cute girly girl. It was a case of been in the right place at the right time and they were. This is the advantage that YG has that other companies don't. YG has never worried about quantity only QUALITY

yes when YG build the BLACKPINK group JENNIE was suppose to be the leader and the main rapper of the group she's still the main rapper but they didn't want a leader in a group . the thing is LISA as a THAI members and the multi language girls got struggle at first to sing and rap in korean and JENNIE is an all rounder she can sing as good than she can rap . but LISA is better to rap than to sing . so when they decide the line distribution most of the time LISA got the rap line and JENNIE the singing part but sometime teddy park or jennie herself decide to got more rap line .
