This is for their 5th Japanese anniversary and also just a few days ago they renewed their contracts with JYP and that’s why you hear chayoung saying we’re still together in the beginning and the lyrics is written by all the members this whole week has been crazy for TWICE the full album is dropping on the 27th of this month so this is a pre release and yesterday they announced their Korean comeback on the 26 of next month this has been a great week for TWICE and ONCEs

They are actually celebrating their 5th japan anniversary but the timing is perfect for their contract renewal (they beat the 7 year curse!!!) All the members co-wrote the lyrics (not for the first time, they did it for 21:29 a bside but this is the first title track writen by twice) so this song is actually more special (no pun intended) The MV is full of references of their japanese MVs and discography, I love the scene where twice is waving at all their past discography in the hourglass. Sunflower- "Better" 7th single Candy- "Candy Pop" 2nd single Flashlight- 2nd full album "&TWICE" Lovely (or Laburi the doll) and the Bulldozer - "BDZ" The 1st full album Trumpet- "Fanfare" 6th single and Brand New Girl (bside with MV which is part of Candy Pop single) Radio- "Happy Happy/Breakthrough" 4th and 5th single released the same day The # Hashtag actually means: 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th best album (japanese version of all their korean hits, #twice1 etc) Tennis Racquet - "One More Time" 1st single Doughnut- "Doughnut" 9th single The last scene reminds me to the parking lot in the TT Japanese version MV And theres also more references (and probably more that I didnt notice) but im not going to write all of them, I hope this helped y'all

This is for the 5th anniversary for their Japanese debut, and they recently renewed their contract, all 9 members wrote the song and well we can tell its just a big celebration, there are little Easter eggs from all their previous Japanese mvs, it's a big love letter to fans and themselves tbh it's special after the renewal announcement 💖 they really love to talk about their bond and love I'll be down to watch sixteen, its a good start, tbh it's a little harsh to watch they went through alot... Like really alot, but I think that's why their bond is so strong, it was a harsh debut and alot of pressure was there but they have overcome it all together, if you start checking their reality things or time to twice you would be able to see it better Thanks for checking them ☺️

Everything in this video is a reference to their previous mvs in Japan over the past 5 years. The doughnut from Doughnut, the bulldozer toy and lovelyz (the doll) for BDZ, the tennis racket from One More Time, the shots of water and plants towards the end are very Breakthrough, there are trumpets from Fanfare. Probably more references as well

Hashtags references to their japanese version compilation albums through the years (#TWICE).. there're currently 4 of them (if im not mistaken).. the mv has a lot of references from their previous japanese releases. The lyrics are written by the girls too.. It's a simple song that celebrates the bond between the members and the journey with the fans. It's heartwarming.

I'm seeing alot of references from their past Japanese songs. I didn't catch all but I would say obviously the donut for Doughnut, The Lovely and bulldozer for DBZ, the sunflower for Better, the tennis racket for One More Time (it was sports themed), the polaroid pictures for Brand New Girl, I want to think the black outfits at 4:14 is a Breakthrough reference, there's a trumpet for Fanfare and a lollipop for Candy Pop. That still leaves Happy Happy, Fake &True and Kura Kura without a reference.

not bad for a japanese track but they did better . i just wait for the biggest GG comeback (and probably the biggest fan ware of august the comeback of Girls Generation /Red velvet /Twice and Blackpink the 4biggest girls groups of kpop history will drop they're albums in a same time . i can't wait to see that 😜 and i 'am curious to see who's gonna be the most popular amoung them . even if i have an idea .

The song meaning seems so sweet from what I've heard, I love it! Esp as a fan. It fits perfectly with all the good news once received recently! The Bsides sound so good already, I'm pretty sure this album will be as good as the previous one! Btw I'm a blink and a once, and I love RV. Despite them coming back in the same time which is huge, I'm not so looking forward to it! Because of fanwars mainly, it will be so tiring and all groups will receive massive hate. No one will be able to write a comment praising their group without being attacked. I just wish we will enjoy our own favs songs but some fans and trolls can be so toxic. As a multi Stan, twice and BP being my ult, watching both Fandoms fighting makes me sad. I'm not much interested about who will be the most popular, because even if my favorite song or group isn't doing the best in charts I'll still like it. Popular or not it doesn't affect the way I love the music so I don't mind it ahah I get what you mean, they are all top groups so it'll be the competition of the decade ahah I'm not just found of this competition thing in kpop so I'm not sooo interested. Slightly curious. Definitely excited to see what they will bring tho!
