MY FIRST TIME REACTING TO STRAY KIDS "소리꾼“ Thunderous M/V

Hey everybody I hope you enjoy my reaction to STRAY KIDS! This was a lot of fun to edit and took a while to put together haha. PS - On a serious note, I wanted to let you guys know that in a few days I'm having surgery that will prevent me from making videos for a couple of days, at the very least. If you're wondering, I have a pacemaker that needs to be replaced after almost 9 years (I had an open heart surgery, and there was a problem with my pulse, therefore I needed to get a pacemaker), so I'm literally running out of juice haha. I will be back as soon as possible, hope you guys stick around!!!

Loved your reaction and welcome to the stay fandom. Stray Kids write, compose, arrange and produce all their own music. This song is off of their 2nd full album No Easy because it is a play on words for noisy. You are 100% correct on the mv. Hatters called thir music noisy and gave them a headache especially gods menu mv and side effects mv. Love to see your reactions on those songs. Also red lights mv is 2 of stray kids members unit song off the new album will shock you. It's a must see. All stray kids members are excellent rappers dancers and have amazing vocals. They have no genre they love to experiment and play all types of songs. Here is a start on their songs. Gods menu mv, Back Door mv, Side Effects mv, Cheese mv. BangChan is the leader (re hair no shirt) and he is from Australia, Felix (long hair) deep voice and born in Australia. Stray Kids debut in 2018. BangChan has 83 songs credited to him and Han (2n rapper) and Changbin (1st rapper) have about 73 credited songs each. They are the only kpop group that spoils their fandom with frequent content and entertainment. BangChan also is the only idol that has ever handpicked his members before debuting. Their is also a rap unit within stray kids called 3 Racha (derived from Sriracha). 3 racha are BangChan, Han and Changbin. Theybare also the producing tram for stray kids.

For the record, Changbin's name is actually pronounced just like it appears: "chang-bin". 🙂 "Thunderous" isn't actually the literal translation of the Korean title, "소리꾼" (so-ri-kkun). That's a term that was used for the great pansori singers of old. Stray Kids have been searching for themselves for the last three years. Their first six EPs were basically an exploration into who they were (in fact, the first three were called "I am NOT", "I am WHO", and "I am YOU"), and especially from their single Side Effects, they've received a lot of criticism for their music just sounding like "noise". Well, in the last year or so, they've figured out who they are, and they're _embracing_ the noise, pretty much making it a genre all its own. The opening song from this EP, "Cheese", is another awesome diss track... but that's _far_ from all they do. You'll also want to check out God's Menu and Back Door, the two preceding singles, which were where they first started to _really_ show who they were. But they've _always_ been brilliant.

Love your reaction and analysis. You understand their concepts quite well. A couple quick notes: A lot of haters say Changbin is LOUD; and yes, he is one of the louder-volumed members of the group, but that is one of the things that makes Changbin himself. The other note is that one of haters/antis favorite things to say about Stray Kids and their music is that their music is noise, construction music, etc. So the title of the album being NOEASY/NOISY is them embracing that and showing how they can take the negative and turn it into musical masterpieces.

Stray Kids are always called by antis and haters as “noise makers” and that they only make construction music (which they dont bc their discography is amazing). Wow!! I was amazed by your accuracy even though it´s your first time listening to Stray Kids. They really put the brain in their creations. The blue flames are from Corean culture (like goblins) and they can be a thousand time nicer to you if your treat them right or a thousand time worst if your mean to them. Anyway, Stray Kids is an amazing group, they have great music and they are very versatile. Good luck with your surgery, I hope everything goes well and take your time on the recovery. Their song Cheese is a ... cheesy comeback to the haters too, talking about how they make fun of their clothes, their walk, their dancing, their smiles, etc. I really enjoyed it, though it's not musically complex like this or God's Menu. Stray Kids are very talented and make great music. They experiment with all genres and have a large discography. I recommend God’s Menu next, but they have so many good songs that you won’t go wrong whatever you choose.

Great video! Stray Kids is at the top of my list. They are awesome. "God's Menu" is definitely a good one to check out. I believe God's Menu had the same director that did Thunderous. They are self-producing, write their own lyrics and participate in choreography making. They don't have 1 sound but I'd say is it's mostly hype, loud and hiphop but they are the most versatile group because of their freedom(they love to experiment) All 8 members sing,rap and dance so they eventually dropped the titles of 'main rapper/singer' since they do it all. Your analyses of their videos are just so spot on, in my opinion. :) As an aside, two of these boys are Australian, and their native language is English. They're both of Korean ethnicity, but Felix was born in Australia to Korean parents, thus he's a citizen there. And Bang Chan was born in Korea but grew up in Australia from infancy, and I believe he holds citizenship in Australia too.

Noeasy is actually the name of the album and as you said means both No Easy and Noisy but the noisy is actually a reference to the haters who call Stray Kids music noisy. They been criticized a lot for making "noise music" so they just just took the chance and adopted as their album name and released this whole album as a diss to all the haters who called their music noisy/ construction music

Thanks for reacting to Stray Kids. It is a recent group (since 2018) but they are very talented and versatile. The songs are written, composed and produced by themselves (3Racha Subunit). Some critics say they are creating a new genre of music because of the mix of styles and sounds in their music. For this reason they also receive a lot of hate because they are producing something different and are doing a lot of success!!! Your analysis was perfect for haters. You immediately understood the message Stray Kids wants to convey. Definitely the next song you need to check out is God's Menu, in which they talk about how they are "cooking" your music, mixing spices (styles)! It's fire!

Stray Kids has a very diverse discography, but there is almost always a deeper message to their songs. If you want to react to another "hater" song, you should check out Cheese. It's the 1st track on their No Easy album and they do talk some mess. However, you will need to see a couple more videos first to get what they are referring to in that song, but you can still definitely appreciate it without seeing them. I could really Recommend you to react to a guid IMHO the guid from SKZ Vintage is the best one (3 part guide) but the guide from Hyuinjinnation is a more funny shorter guide. SKZVintage is more like a great documentary about them. Would love to see you react to a guide... Love the way you mention the HATERS in this song. Take care of yourself, and take the time you need - we aren't going anywhere. If I may make a suggestion - you seem to be using a stereo style mic' setup, may i suggest you change to a mono'- either in software or with a single mic', as your vocals move from side to side as you change your position, and it's rather distracting. Well, least for me it is, others may be fine with it 😎

"Dirty" is Australian slang for "annoyed/angry" so when Bang Chan says "I'm not sorry, I'm dirty" He means "I'm not sorry, I'm angry (with the haters)" it's a nice little throw in for his Aussie roots. :)

hello :) you should definitely check out their MV "cheese". Its their NoiEAsy answer to all haters - way more than Thunderous. They use references to different topics they were criticized for (like their songs gods menu/side effects, visuals, beeing noisy...) also the cinematics are amazing and its very heavy influenced by rock elements. :)

Sorikkun is how the singer of a type of korean story telling (pansori) that they mimic during the rap at 1:00, but it also means literally 'sound master' or 'sound experts' this is sort of missed in the English translation. The people in masks and black are some type of villain called jansori in the lyrics, word that could loosely mean something along the lines of 'gibberish sound maker' I.e the haters, and the sound monster is feeding on the jansori thus making ppl loose their voices and they're fighting that evil. In fact, they are some kind of goblin/deity called dokkaebi that are often associated with blue fire. This video is seriously an odyssey into korean culture, there's a lot more, Liry Onni has a video on the matter, it's in Spanish... tho, possibly the Google translation will make sense a good portion of the time it has legit Spanish subs

Thuderous is diss song along with Cheese.The album Noesy/Nosy is split Noisy part 4 diss hyper songs that talk about the hate they recieved the next 4 No easy talking about the part haters don`t see ,that what people say takes toll on them but also they give hand to us Stay when we feel down too and the next 4 are unit experimental songs and 1 song from the final fo Kingdom Leggendary war. For me Thuderous is the most elegant clap back at haters why celebrating your culture. The incorporation of pansori is something I live for also the wordplay and all cultural refferences like the part - Go back woodcutter, there's nothing to cut here, - since it was popular occupation in ancient Korea
