So it’s an inside joke fan thing that Mark is Spider-Man. He is Spider-Man Mark Lee essentially haha he is always up to date on fan memes. There’s even a little boy from Indonesia who thinks he is actually Spider-Man and Mark met him.

the whole plot of the mv is him trying to reach this "rockstar" girl, which is being represented as the literal "rock" in the ceiling. so he tries a lot of methods, like buoyancy and trying to fly with a parachute, but all these tries were unsuccessful. so at the end he discovered his hidden power (we love you spidermark)

why spiderman ?? cuz Mark is SpiredMork in the multiverse hhhh so the fans joked abt it cuz mark has crazy reflexes and "a gifted behind" this joke got to the NeoChity and Mark liked it too NCT 127 turned this into a sitcom and mark wore a spiderman costume in Halloween then he started saying if there will ever be an asian spiderman it gotta be him !!!

I'm not sure about the debut date interpretation, but his official explanation is that a couple that completes/works well together is a total of 200, but he's giving "his" partner credit for 106 and he's only 94, thus acknowledging she is better than him.

I love his concept, and I tend to think of it not as "better" or "worse" in the relationship but more like similar enough to work together but also complementary. Like one may bring "more" or more obvious strengths to the relationship but the 94 also brings something. Lots of numbers could add up to 200. These are very close together and also different enough to be interesting :)

Mark said he was inspired by a "Tom Holland teen film" concept which is both fun and lovely. There are so many nods to the fan memes and also films (which Mark really enjoys). I love how 127 themselves went all in on the SpiderMark idea from fans and then made their own skits about it. They do that so often and it's charming. What I love about the numbers Mark uses in his lyrics here is that they can be understood in many different ways (and he leaves it open to interpretation) but when he explains- he wanted them to add up but also to be asymmetrical (not 50/50). He will also choose numbers have a good rhythm and sound to his ear. 100+100 is dull. 106 + 94 is far more interesting as both sounds and a concept. Such a poet, this kid! And I love all the rock animation at the end. Shooting stars are tiny bits of rock after all....

The spiderman things started bcs mark has a GOOD good reflex yo theres a lot of edit about it. And btw you should listen to 200 (Minhyung Ver.) as well!! Its the acoustic version that showcase more of mark's vocal. Btw this single album is kinda like an opening song/pre release song for his upcoming solo debut in FEBRUARY 2025.
