Bhinda Bataka Nu Shaak is a popular Gujarati recipe but today we will make this recipe in a different style. Recipe:
Ingredients:
500 Grams Chopped Okra (Bhindi)
2-3 Lengthwise Chopped Potatoes
2-3 Finely Chopped Green Chilies (Hari Mirch)
10-12 Crushed Garlic Cloves (Lehsun)
1 Teaspoon Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1/4 Teaspoon Asafoetida (Hing)
1/2 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
1-2 Teaspoon Red Chilli (Lal Mirch) Powder
1-2 Teaspoon Dhana Jeera Powder
3/4 Teaspoon Pav Bhaji Masala
3/4 Teaspoon Garam Masala
3/4 Teaspoon Chaat Masala
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Coriander Leaves (Dhania)
Oil
Procedure:
1. Heat oil and add cumin seeds, asafoetida, finely chopped green chilies and crushed garlic cloves. Saute it well.
2. Add chopped okra and chopped potatoes, stir well. Close lid and cook for 1-2 minutes.
3. Now add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, dhana jeera powder, pav bhaji masala, garam masala, chaat masala and salt. Mix it well. Close lid and cook for 2-3 minutes to cook the potatoes well.
4. Now add lemon juice and coriander leaves. Bhinda Batata Nu Shaak is ready.
