Saved my life, kept me on the path, so many times, this did! Did my 1st 10 day course in 1989, and a few since then, and have just completed a Satipatthana @ Dharma Medini (June/July 2020), after Lockdown eased in NZ to Level 1. Many thanks and much gratitude to the Servers and Rob. This is the most soothing of the morning chants, for the toughest of days, in a 10 day course. Funny how the evening discourse and the morning chanting, always beautifully reflects the depth of the journey we each travel during a course. Does for me , anyway :) Be Happy 2bears

I grew up with "pahtana pali" (both 24 small list and big), I was so happy when I heard this during the course. I literally cried with joy. I understood every single pali words he was chanting and I thank my grandparents for this.

Tikapatthana in the first division of all Patthana. Here Tika means "three" and this part of Patthana consists of 22 tikas (triplets) which are given in the Matika (table of contents) of the first book of Abhidhamma titled Dhammasangani. The second part of Patthana is Dukapatthana, which deals with 100 dukas (couplets). The other parts of Patthana are combinations of these tikas and dukas. All Tikapatthana is translated into English by Sayadaw U Narada and published by PTS. Since 2013 PTS kindly granted its permission for free non-commercial distribution of all its translations of Abhidhamma. You can find pdfs of Tikapatthana in English at www.patthana.net as well as many other materials on Patthana.

There are 235 Vipassana centres in the world, including Sri Lanka. They are conducted by assistant teachers while playing the recording of gurujis voice. Everything is in his/Buddha's tradition and has maintained its pristine form.
