Irrespective of what Dhanush does in real life, in this particular case, as a producer he has every right to not allow them to use the footage. And BTS is also production house’s IP. So, in this case with it getting NOC they should have just not used the footage. I am sure they could have spoken about the movie without using the footage. There is also lot of chatter about how Vignesh went over budget while trying to woo Nayan during the shoot of that movie which is the root of most of this issue. Neither party is doodh ka dhula here. Edit: But yes no point in bringing up Nayan’s affairs here. That is personal and Prabhudeva is equally responsible for that. He was not a child jisko gumrah kiya gaya. This is also not a man vs woman issue.
