This is my humble effort to provide information for the visitors about Dharamsalas and hotel in Madhuban, Shikharji, Parasnath, Sammed Shikhar. (2019)
Parasnath or Shikharji is not only a religious destination for the Jains, but it is also one of most beautiful tourist places in Jharkhand.
But there is very little information about Dharamsalas and Hotel at Madhuban in the Internet.
In this video, I have tried to provide information regarding the top Dharamsalas and hotel in Madhuban. Dharamsalas at Madhuban offer best accommodation and vegetarian food at minimalistic price.
We visited Parasnath last winter, there we stayed at Uttar Pradesh Prakash Bhawan.
Though I am not attached to any religion, this Dharamsala, specially meant for the Digambar Jains, welcomed me as their own.

Have you share me your valued Ideas regarding the following Matter : - 1. What is the distance of teaking Point from this UP prakash vaban? 2. May we go to Sammed Sikharjii, Pareshnath mandir, Jol mandir, Chandrapravu Tong and ors. places of Parashnath Hill (about 32 KM. To And fro distance from Madhuban) In a day by Doli( carried by 4 persons) or we have to stay at One night? If stay where and the Approx. Doli charges. 3. At Feb. Wheter there will be Foggy whether or not?

Thank you Partha Sarathi for your response. 1. Approximately 1 km 2. There is no such place for overnight stay at the trekking route. You have to come down to your place at Madhuban. Generally, the journey starts very early in the morning, so that you can come down within the same day. We started walking at 4 am, and came down at Madhuban at 6 pm. Doli charges vary between 2 thousands to 4 thousands. Please contact the dharamshala for proper guidance. 3. The weather would be pleasant in Feb. Just avoid summer & monsoon.

Thanks for the video. I would like to clarify my few doubts how many hotels are there in Madhuban. Does the place has all types of hotels including budget , premium and luxury ones? Also Does Uttar Pradesh Prakash bhavan allows anyone to stay or it is basically only for Jain's? Can I trekk the hill if I start @9 am and come back @3 am easily. Bike service available?

Thank you for watching the video. There are less hotels but hundreds of Dharamshalas in Madhuban. There is one premium hotel named Shikharji Continental. And there are a couple of budget hotels. But I recommend you to stay in a Dharamshala. Most of them are well maintained and air conditioned as well as affordable. Uttar Pradesh Prakash bhavan and Tera Panthi Kothi Dharamshalas are famous. They provide excellent vegetarian food at a nominal cost. Religion is not an issue for staying in a Dharamshala. If they have rooms you can easily stay there. Try to reach Madhuban early in the morning, so that you can get rooms available. Contact numbers of Dharamshalas are available in Google. The journey for Jain pilgrims generally starts at 2 o'clock in the night. We started at 4 o'clock in the night and returned at 6 o'clock in the evening. Bike service was there earlier, but now it is stopped due to the pressure of doli walas. You may contact me if you have any other questions. Thank you again.

@@ajitranjan326 Thank you very much. There is no shortage of transport facility in Madhuban. Wherever you stay, in front of your hotel or Dharamshala, you will get some cars and vans standing for hire nearby. You should contact them before hand for late night departure or drop journey to Parasnath or Giridihi Railway station or any places you like. The fare is reasonable. But if you feel, you may negotiate a little bit for a better deal.

As as it is a place for pilgrims it is very cheap. Please don't expect much luxury. If you complete your jatra on foot then you can expect to complete the tour in as less as rupees 500 per day per head.
