I took the overnight (sleeper) train from Delhi to Pathankot. Arrived Pathankot in the morning. It was very easy to take the local buses to get to McLeod Gang. The locals will always show you where to change bus. Very pleasant journey.

Sir my plan is from Delhi to Pathankot then Dharamshala on the night of 12th May. I will reach Pathankot by 9 am on 13th May, after that I have to go to Dharamshala or Mcleodganj please tell. And how do I know where to go, best budget hotel in main market, best budget transport from Pathankot, then visit places from Dharamshala to McLeodganj and what can be the best plan from 13th May to 16th May. Dharmshala is a capital of Indian state Himachal Pradesh. It is a nice city in Himachal Pradesh. I accept it that Dharmshala is a tourist place. Because foreign people came here for walking. I visited Dharmashala with family very recently, it's a very beautiful place. Best way to reach is to travel by flight from Delhi to Kangra Airport from there it's just 22 kms.
