Loved each and every corner of this room makeover. DIY bookself is amazing and yellow colouris just wow. I just feel if you could have used long curtains for the window and rug under the coffe table.

Long curtains would look better but may be that's not practical in this case as they would be behind the sofa, so opening and closing them would be difficult.

It is nice but just some recommendation 1) increase the height of ur curtain till the top of ceiling to show bigger space 2) the length of the curtain should be till the floor 3) the bookshelf is dangerous, small kids can climb and fall unto them. Make sure u secure it to the wall. Anyway good job

I want to add few things if u dont mind. The leaf painted wall should not be over crowded with things. I think u should place more decorative things infront of white plain wall.

I agree with you, but If she put the rug, it would hide the original design of the floor. It wouldn't have made sense since they designed the ceiling to complement the existing floor

The design on the accent wall was looking better when it was just half way until the window. Whole wall looks very crowded. If Curtains were of full length, they would have looked better

Looks much better than before. Also if u further want to make changes in future, u can paint the wooden part of sofa n centre table white also n add a nice gray/white rug or carpet on the floor. It will complete the look. :)

Stenciling was looking much better on half wall. This way it looks more cluttered. You have followed Scandinavian theme design but colour of the bookshelf is from bohemian theme.

In the book shelf you placed the books upside down... The accent wall doesn't required any accessories on sides or in front.... the sofas could have faced each other to enhance the look of the wall full length...

Transformation is good. Below might add more cohesiveness. 1. Full size curtains. With some yellow tussles. 2. Paint the wooden sofa and coffee table white. 3. One or two cushions with yellow colour from the book shelf.

I feel a rug on the floor will add wow factor... Because the current pattern of the floor is bit disturbing..... Just one more suggestion about using long curtains --- it's just a my feeling

Good effort. No matter what is window size , curtains always have to be floor length . Plus clock wall would have looked better as an accent wall as accent wall preferably shouldn’t have a window/ door . It should ideally be one plain wall. U could also add some colours through cushion .

Well done Dhara! It's looking beautiful. Just two suggestions if you don't mind. I also stencilled two walls of my home by myself. I found that Rather of placing stencil sheet next to next, if we place them apart, there will be space between two patterns. It will look much better. Second the length of the curtain should be Little longer, it looks visually better. Sofa renovation and book shelf colour is just amazing. Keep it up 👍

Even though your Accent wall has the Paint and the stencil still the focus is on the Side wall . Ideal condition is where you Accent wall should be the focal point where you either have the TV or the sofa . Also when the whole background is grey and white your floor should be covered by Rug/Carpet .
