GRATEFUL doesn't Even BEGIN to describe it for me. COVID introduced me to Dr Daniels, his family and his ministry. In 11/21 God moved me from Illinois to the Atlanta area. I ended up moving three times since settling here in Atlanta. I now know I am at home where I'm supposed to be because Change Church just opened the Atlanta location only 15 minutes from where I now live! And the fact that today's message was started off with Jeremiah 29:11? Not only is that the first Bible verse that I memorized and my all-time favorite, pastor's message reminds me that I'm only at the comma and I have to embrace what comes after the comma! Thank you Jesus!

5 Things: 1. I need truth-reality. The truth will set you free. Bound and limited when NOT living in truth, build now to float in the flood. It’s going to rain-burdens and blessings. STORMS WILL COME. Can you stand the rain? How you doin? FLOATING!!!! 2. I need tools. Different tools for building in different seasons. Saw-cut some things offfffffffff-negativity cynicism if I don’t cut it it won’t be cut. Hammer apply pressure drive a nail to hold it together-it will come together to apply pressure. People are getting ready to be sick of you-they already thrown off by you now! A level-I’ve been unlevel too long- it’s one sided- been allllll one sided-level something’s off too many withdrawals not enough deposits! Paint-makes the same thing look like a new thing! Put a lil paint on it- old thing look like a new thing God doesn’t have to give you something new to do something new. 3. I need a team- culture lives in extremes-codependency or hyper independence INTER DEPENDENT-ONLY God didn’t give everybody EVERYTHING. Friends aren’t a team. You got company. May God send you coworkers and people to help you build. Timing. When Noah completed the Ark, the rain came. God knew how long construction would take in a season when it was going to rain. God knows be able to build an empire without destroying your soul- a blessing can feel like a great burden if you don’t build into yourself now. What is God nudging you about NOW that your future requires. Tenacity willingness to build with no clouds in the sky. It’s discouraging and demotivating to see a harvest that looks different than what it is. The last few seasons have taken it outta me and been restless in my soul, there’s gotta be more. The tenacity of Jacob. David’s faith. It’s up from here! In Jesus’ name- AMEN!

We all know that when this message is preached from the bible, it sounds just like our African American history. I wish that when these messages are preached by our black pastors, that they would reference the actual people of today that the Bible is referring to.
