भारत में कोर्ट के सामने भारत का कोई भी नागरिक याचिका दायर करता है तो कोर्ट को, बिना जाति,धर्म या लिंग का भेदभाव किए,उसे केवल एक भारतीय नागरिक के रूप में उसका मुकदमा सुना जाय और उसे न्याय देना चाहिए। यदि किसी समुदाय को भारतीय कानून से आपत्ति है तो उसे अपने समुदाय के आधार पर ही मामले निपटा लें लेकिन अगर उनके समुदाय का कोई सदस्य अपना मामला कोर्ट की शरण में जाता है तो उसको भारतीय कानून के अनुसार न्याय दिया जाना चाहिए। इस बार राजीव गाँधी तो सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्णय को पलटने के लिए आने वाला है नहीं।
