Sitting here in uncontrolled tears. My son & I both suffer from kidney failure. Mine is end stage & his is stage 4. This has me in a rollercoaster of emotions. He hasn't even lived yet & I've spent most of my life serving this country in the Army & state government. While I'd love a kidney, I want him to get it first but O negative is universal so we can only get our blood type while anyone can get ours & that's the dilemma. It's been 4yrs & I'm just staying strong for him. He's all I've got.

This hit pretty close to home for me! My mom has been going to dialysis ever since I was little! It was a difficult time for me and my sister, especially because my jerk father never supported her! Despite that, she'd always cook, clean, get me and my sister ready for school and so on! I still remember how just a few years ago, me, my sister and her moved to another town, so she had to go to another dialysis clinic, but there were some complications with it. I can't quite remember, because shortly after, my mom came into my room one night to tell me she was finally getting a new kidney! I'm really happy for her, because after 11 years, she can finally live a normal life again! ❤ Even though the new kidney has a chance of failing, she keeps looking forward without any fear!

@Aruna_Shadows3 ай бұрын
@@Teich_Pond It's fine. They actually never were married and he honestly wasn't a good father. He was basically your sterotypical lazy jobless father! My mom and him argued literally every day and they had too many breakup-makeup scenarios to count! She FINALLY left him when I was around 12 and my sister was 5 years old and the three of us moved to another city that was a few months before she finally got a new kidney! My father has changed by now though. He's working and he has a wife and stepdaughter now. And, still to my suprise, he and my mom can finally talk without yelling at each other!

This reminded me about when my grandma was sick with heart problems. I'm just glad I spent all of her last days with her before she died. It's always important to be there for those that raised you because you never know when their last day could be. I still remember Grandma calling me on her last day telling me she did not want me and my uncle to visit her that day because she had been so sick. Little did I know that my uncle and two of my older cousins would be coming to my house at almost midnight to inform me that she passed away. I was glad that I at least told her I loved her every time I left the nursing home or got off the phone with her.

Losing a parent is never easy at any age. I lost my mother 5 years ago and there's not a day that goes by, I don't think about my mom. I miss her voice especially when she's yelling at me for a foolish mistake I had made or about to make. It was more painful to watch my mother deteriorate, but it's even more pain to think about what I done that I should have never done or what I should have done but neglected to do. However, my mom will with me always and one day I will reunite with mom.

This happened to me when I was 3 my kidneys fell and I was very sick and I was dying I actually almost died but the doctors saved me I like this video because it also shows on how family memebers are there for each other always stay by your family no matter what and always spend time together

This goes to show that you should always make time for the people who matter to you because you never know when you will never have the chance again. No matter how busy you are you spend time with your friends, friends, loved ones and pets before they're history.

Same thing happened with my neighbor’s mom. Her mom waited for 11 years just for a kidney,and finally got one, but after taking my neighbor to piano contest, it was too cold and her kindey failed again, because she had a fever. She currently in the ER waiting to get better.
