As someone with an alternative style, it's hard to attend school. People think that I dress that way because i'm sad but it's actually the opposite, it makes me happy and feel like myself. Honestly, even if that was a line, that wasn't cool of Dhar to put in the video. That could honestly hurt someone, like me who's had someone struggle with that. Same here. They've never been judged at, but I have 2 good friends who like to dress emo style, and I personally like them for the way they are on the inside, even when I first met them. Also, here's a reason why Mrs. Savage was not truly sorry: You're aware there is a difference between being sorry for what one has did and being caught. In her case, she was sorry be she found herself wrong about her judgment, and it took evidence to prove when she shouldn't have been so quick at all let alone let another student off the hook. Her stories made me feel empathized with her because I know exactly what it's feel like to be mistreated based on the outer appearance. Like myself, I been bullied and mistreated since I was kindergarden, in standard school, in high school, in colleague because of my disability of slow-learning. Now as an adult, is still the same but get much worse because I'd been deliberately sexual harrased by a man in a work place, leading me to quit my job in order to save myself from him, and been 'exploited' by them who saw me not as a person, but as a thing or tools. Those darkest days of my painful life experiences I'd been through had me suffered from PTSD, Depression and Adjustment Disorder. At the same time, those previous painful days had taught me a lesson: I will never let them mistreated me, misjudged me and exploited me. I'm currently a police supporter and an Anti-Criminal. If anyone make a mess with me, I immediately go straight calling the cops to arrest them. The main message from this story is. 'Before you judge someone, you should get to know them.'

We used to have this emo girl in school and she would be literally a little genius and good in every class. Each year she would be the first one in the school and whenever you had a problem she would help you out. She was friendly, and just so kind. People always judged her because of her style, because she always wore black chokers and much more. This year she got into the best highschool in the city (in our country you have to pass an exam, and your grade will tell you the highschool you re going to basically)

I totally agree! Dhar Mann's whole thing with the channel is content that teaches you something and is spreading a positive message, it's really not great that they don't have trigger warnings, because some of these topics ARE sensitive. Dhar Mann's content used to be family-friendly and the kind of thing my little siblings would enjoy too, but I get that now it's moved on to an older audience, which is fine, I guess, but there still should be trigger warnings. (edit: the channel itself has such a wide age range. I mean, i watched one of his videos a few days ago which was about kids going trick or treating and then a man comes up to them and asks them if they want candy, and the kids go with them. the message of that was not to accept candy from strangers, or about stranger danger and I'd say that was aimed at kids aged 6-9. Other videos are about mature themes that some people can be quite upset about. I mean, the channel has gone on a rollercoaster, spinning between different age groups, touching on different themes... earning parents' respect then losing it multiple times. Dhar Mann isn't family-friendly anymore... which is fine, but I wish they'd make up their minds. I am not a hater of Dhar Mann, and I respect the inspirational messages he is sending to the world but honestly... my respect for him is just slightly less, because after all of the changes the channel has gone through, I really don't know what to think anymore about it.

I had friends dressed like this in high school and at the time I thought I could dress like them too. But upon returning to school, none of them made fun of me. Instead all four encouraged me go back to my normal style bc their style didn’t suite me as it did them. Once back into my old style they said much better making all five of us laugh, as we walked towards the cafeteria. Such fond memories I have of my friends. Showing the importance of friendship. Proving that one’s style doesn't dictate who are friends are just by how they are dressed. All of us our human, with many different unique styles. Its good to be caring, respectful, and supportive of our friends no matter what. Yes, we Slytherins believe in friendship too despite many claiming us as the evil house. Don’t judge a person’s house but also don’t underestimate us either lol 😂!!!
