Not true. In this test, there is no connectivity outside of each individual network. Everybody knows that gateways are for networks to connect with other networks (e.g. the Internet). Unless I missed it, she isn't even communicating across subnets.

@@Matt_H_ but she should’ve demonstrated that because that is normal procedure. The network on each side gets their assigned addresses but the problem is it does not assign them the default gateway address, which is important.

I'm a bit naive with network , I 'm stuck with something basic , after all the configuration is set , I tried moving simle PDU from Net1 to Net 2 , it comes up with an error message of it being failing , usure where I could have wrong. (Please note all the step carried out in CLI is ditto to yours),Please advise

Isn't that the expected behaviour by default? Communication across VLAN's and different subnets usually requires extra config.
