I mean it makes sense on a surface level, that's when people get horny and start thinking about who they're into, but maybe dont sexualize children? Not to mention the lovecraftian horror takes the form of a naked child in episode 3? I love the show, but it's a little yikers macgikers.

This is one of those anime that follows a coherent storyline that's decent and remains pretty interesting and intriguing but that most everything else simply doesn't make any kind of sense at all.
