I'll definitely be listening to this again when my grandad's cancer catches up with him. He's still fighting it to this day. He's had it for 5 or 6 years now. He'll be 76 in May. My crush also has cancer and I'm so scared to lose them both. I hope my crush's cancer is gone by the time he finishes his treatments in the next couple of weeks. I am so scared of losing them both. They've helped me fight my anxiety and depression numerous times, so to go back inside those thoughts again with this extra pressure is just mentally consuming for me. Thanks for making such a beautiful song. It's helped me a lot. I won't cry over their dead bodies. Imma keep fighting and keep their tender memories if they do die.

This song is absolutely beautiful. It brings me to tears every single time. I had a friend in a roleplay server who **loved** BATDR. We actually implemented some of the story points into the server. My characters name was Nate Weathers. He had a daughter, named Jane Weathers. Nate got arrested for being a "vigilante" of sorts, and Jane was left alone. Nate eventually came back, but he was a small fox plush then. Jane didn't know he was her father until he said something. "Just a pencil and a dream". Can I just say, thank you so much for making this. Most BatDR songs are more intense, putting a more chaotic view on the game, an example being "Revive my Soul", which made Audrey sound almost like she wasn't afraid, like she was almost confident. I won't try to say that it was a bad song - in fact, it was very good - it's just that this seems to represent Audrey more accurately - a scared little girl without her father, lost in a world she doesn't understand. I feel that the calm, quiet tones of this song represents the game itself better too - the redemption of a broken man who gave up everything for his daughter, who is trying to find herself, and her father without knowing it. Another good example is "Children if the Machine". It uses light tones to better represent the love Joey has for Audrey, and the gravity of his past sins. All in all, I feel these songs with a more quiet and calm way of telling the story of BatDR are not only more accurate, but just better in general (not to say i don't love the lounder ones).

Damn I love the art style and how reminiscent it is of the credits art style in game. This song is so bittersweet and I love how it shows the very different perspectives that both Bendy / The Ink Demon, and Audrey have of Joey Drew / their creator. I don’t think Joey was genuine, but believed he was good and never wrong which is why his “memory” appears as such, however Audrey I do believe DID think he was a good person. Audrey is also the kind of person to help anyone and who is nice to everyone which I love, but also feel bad for her about given how some people can be. Loved this song definitely!
