I mean he's alright but I would expect some world-class shredder (who ALSO knows restraint since pure shred isn't true Maiden....anyway), but to add on to that they then get Blayze Bayley who isn't a bad singer at all but isn't in the same range as Bruce (which means touring's gonna be a bitch for him) plus this voice while decent doesn't fit Maiden IMO.....At least Brave New World was decent enough to purge the bad vibes of the 90s albums

Great times for me as a long meticulous maiden fan. My hero Davey was playing his #1 strat except for the occasional ESP, Rod Smallwood, Dick Bell ( pinching Steve's throat @ 3:55 ) Dave Lights and some of the original crew were there for the sing along what a tour family and felt part of it, the maiden line up as I liked minus Clive Burr were amazing. I was young and indestructible and had fuel for days ! I caught Adrian's wristband and Nicko's drumstick which I still have and I threw my sweat soaked undershirt at Steve's face. Wore my 7th son jersey proud as hell which I still have. Glad Bruce was not in his turn off your joints phase then cause I'd been thrown out !!!

Although I love Davey's solos, Adrian is a far superior guitarist and songwriter. His lead work is far more considered and composed than Murray's rapid flourishes. Don't get me started on Janick Gers, I fail to hear what he brings to the band aside from truly horrible technique and tone.
