Actually the reason behind dhitarastra blindness is not the curse of the swan, The reason is when Ambika went to vedvyas for viyog to bear her son because vichitryavirya death. When ambika approached vedvyas she closed her eyes with fear because vedvyas was old and very hideous appearanace when dhitaratra was born he became blind.
