Absolutely love the content from Kevin and Rohan, it's greatly appreciated so thank you lads. I've been using my Neobuds Pro since April and they have three main issues (for me at least). 1) Getting a good seal, it's crucial. I had to use different tips as the stock ones just wouldn't stay in or fit properly. 2) The app is dodgy. It's so sketchy that it's current version gets flagged as malware for me so I cannot update it knowing that. 3) Audio stutter/drop outs. It's the least offensive of the 3 but I would get at least 2-3 of these on my daily 40 minute walk to work. I've since bought the Liberty 3 Pro and they are better for me in every way. I had the neobuds pro, but I already had liberty 3 pros and they weren't better. I ended up getting XM4 over ear for travel (those things are ridiculous). However, the buds I end up using the most are the earfun free mini. $15 and I can wear them in the shower? They're pretty awesome.

Just came across this video. FANTASTIC review of the 2 headphones. I bought the Pro from the original Indiegogo campaign. Fantastic buy. Have been VERY happy with them. What is the point of the S? It's not an upgrade and good luck getting people to spend $80USD more for them.

1more I was way ahead of the field by offering multiple drivers. They had that all the way back with the one more dual drivers from January 2020. They have triple drivers in their neck bands.

if Edifier really wanted to edify us With their neobuds s, they should have added Led colours for battery charge, stereo when people use just one earbud because you may not use both earbuds in some places like work, better detection by phone and other improvements borrowed from competition.

The price point is probably because they are early adopters on Snapdragon sound and sound and aptx adaptive. I wonder if this is marketed towards gamers at all

I LOVED the neobuds pro, but there seems to be a design flaw of some sort, particularly with the right earpiece. Twice already it happened for me. First time was after four months of owning a pair. The right was noticeably softer, and the base was basically broken. After getting a replacement unit it happened again nine months later. This time I actually heard what sounded like an electrical short from the right earpiece, and volume was noticeably softer and sounded muffled. Base was still ok but not as punchy as the left. Price to performance ratio is still superior, but quality control might be an issue here.

I've used my Neobuds pro for around 4 months before right earbud just stopped working. Sent them for warranty repair to China (Aliexpress) - seller(official Edifier) has promised to give me a 99.9% discount on new Neobuds Pro but now I was thinking of paying a bit extra and getting a Neobuds S instead.... But now I'm not sure. I think I'll just get Neobuds S then resell them as unopened and get L3P or XM4 instead. Battery life of ~4-4.5 hours (highANC/transparency + LDAC(900kbit) + ~70-80% volume) has been an awful experience.

Ok lads, my Neobuds Pro finally arrived. Happily I have a Xiaomi Poco F3 so I get full HD audio happiness with LDAC and LHDC. Bloody great sound so far. Is the fit perfect? Nope. Is the battery life brilliant? Nope. Is the sound mind blowing and bloody impeccable in terms of fidelity? Yup. Thanks for the link and the heads up on a great product. Did I say these were bloody brilliant?!? 😀🙏

after couple months of using the neobuds, i find it to be pretty rubbish. audible difference in volume between left and right buds(have to reconnect to make that go away). microphone been inconsistent as well. sticking to bigger brands for better after sales service and reliability...

Have an s22 ultra with the snapdragon processor but still not even sure if it will work with these as it doesn't show that as an option in the audio codecs but ima do lil more searching to find out for sure but great job guys !!!!!!

I don't think that the S22 ultra supports aptX adaptive, I have the S21 ultra in Snapdragon and even though the chipsets that we have are plenty capable on running those codecs, Samsung insist on not including it as supported codec. Maybe because they are trying to save some money by not paying Qualcomm the aptX adaptive functionality and is trying to force people to use their own sound codec tech. That's the main reason that I just bought the Neobuds pro on sale and settled for the so-so battery life on LDAC codec.

The Snapdragon Samsung phones won't even be able to take advantage of this either! Samsung has refused to support any of Qualcomm's newer Codecs, only the ancient original "aptX". No aptX LL, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, no Snapdragon Sound. :(

Are the prompt voice in English or chinese? When we make calls, the volume is not loud enough. It has been the same issue since neobuds pro. I've tried both. I thought with the new chipset it can be made much louder but nope.

I've used my Neobuds Pro for several months almost every day and I like them. They are comfortable and the voice quality of the microphones are surprisingly good. However, I think the sound in neutral setting is awful with shrill trebles and not much bass and the EQ can only do so much to remedy this. Also the ANC is unnoticable to me, definetly much worse than passive noise cancellation of the Shure SE215 for example.

I watched your video and bought Edifier NeoBuds Pro. It had some connection issue and I had it changed. The new pair has some new issues though, the right ear won't ever connect again after somehow being disconnected. When I asked the customer service, they gave me a tutorial on how to 're-activate' the right ear, meaning it's a common problem. So I refunded it completely. No Edifier for life. They are just so immature as a brand.
