That statement is an oxymoron. If Scotland becomes part of the EU it is not independent it does not make its own Laws and cannot vote out the people who do. Also if Scotland wants to rejoin the EU after Brexit it does not automatically have the right to rejoin. The EU may very well say no because Scotland outside the UK does not not meet the criteria of EU membership and would be a net beneficiary to the EU.

The problem with being part of EU, bought unwanted benefit scavengers from poorer EU regions like Poland, Portugal, Romania, & few more poorer countries,they started flooding to UK, draining the system overloading NHS, state benefits, council housing, private housing paid by the state, most of these people started claiming benefits for extra children they did not have, in their countries, which effected British benefit system, housing, over populations, rise of house prices, loss of jobs, schools being over loaded with too many students, the school are struggling to cope with, same goes with Drs. Hospital, policing & rise of crime. This is the main reason the British wanted out, as they were getting drained by some poorer countries & their people. It's a small island & it's very crowded, now.

It is quite likely that after this period some another private sector bank will collapse..........

I am an Irish Citizen (originally from Mauritius) recently moved to Scotland after 7 years living in Irelans. First I can say that Scots are the nicest and most friendliest people I have ever met in my life, secound they are very hardworking and open minded regarding different people culture and religion they build up very good working environment where everyone would give their best. Third it is a very rich country (land and reserves) and will be the richest in europe if the oil industry is exploited. British will never accept such a loss even if it will be for the betterment of Scotland.
