It's purely demand and supply. When demand increases for the doller it's value increases as well. How demand increases? When India exports their products we should be paid by our own national currency(indian rupees) So the country which is importing would want to exchange their currency for indian rupees thus demand for indian rupees increases, so is the value. So simply increase exports decrease imports and become a trade surplus country which we are not. This is the best of my knowledge.thank you☺️
