But present scenario of left is horrifying most of the left wing(communist) countries are undemocratic they want total control over their citizens like China Russia and North Korea. And also Russia is a country which ranks highest in economic gap between rich and poor so left in this is not working. Also left cares very less about a country(eg India) i mean it takes a lot for a country to become relevant and successful but ultra liberal idea of left often endangers national integrity. Also left wing idea never talks about how a poor can become rich which according to me should be an ultimate goal of any ideology. Left always talks about how a poor should get its right and etc but never talks about the fact that everyone needs to be economically stable. Nor does it talks about scientific developments etc. Though extreme right is definitely dangerous but according to me India should be right leaning especially in economics and immigration and border issues and it should be left leaning when dealing with poor peoples and taxation. But yes the biggest threat of right is religious interference in government. And danger of left is revolution in everything, unstable economics, too much liberalism, politics without everyones participation, not caring about national interest, too much control over citizens, lack of democratic system etc...

@@whateveristaken You seem like a republican. But nevertheless, if you want to talk about USA, then there is a third party called libertarian party, which is economically right and socially left. Democrats can't be called liberals bcoz they prefer some state intervention in economy. And Republican can't be called liberal bcoz they are socially conservative.
