I would have chosen a more regular costume look but, at the very least, is a unique take. I´ll give McFarlane that.

@@manuelchinchilla4909 depends if you want a classic or modern look I like this one better Injustice seems more of a modern look for Him And even though it isn’t from the comic it is close enough

Great figure, though decided to head swap with my old DC Direct Brightest Day Green Arrow. Works with this hood. Btw DC Direct 52 younger Commissioner Gordon makes a good custom Eddie Fyres.

@@dHuntersReviews easy.."barely an inconvenience.". The Brightest Day Ollie head fits in the Longbow Hood. For me, he looks better. Close to Errol Flynn Robin Hood, like Mike Grell's Ollie was supposed to look. And you can draw an iris on his blank eyes with a green pen (just a dot)

I've watched a ton of your videos and it finally happened. I have a figure you don't have. The DC Icons Green Arrow. Very similar to this figure but I actually prefer the Icons figure and passed on this one. The design is based on the Mike Grell comic from the late 80's early 90's. A more adult take on the character where GA killed people. Great run.

This Green Arrow’s a good enough placeholder for me until we get a full on classic comic version or a modern comic look

Reuse of the Princess Bride figure is nonsense. He should be more muscular. It looks okay on its own but next to other DC heroes he looks too thin. I suppose you could say he just got back from being on the deserted isle he was stranded on from his origin story. Need his classic look!

@@dHuntersReviews The comic story Longbow Hunters this figure is based on is a solo adventure of Green Arrow so I’m keeping him by himself on the shelf. I eagerly await his most popular suit, like the one on Super Friends & how Neal Adams drew him in comics.

I find it really funny this guy reuses a lot from Princess Bride's Iñigo Montoya. I love it when a company reuses molds from other franchises, Mattel used to do that with their He-man figs fro their DCUC figs.

I actually do like the hood look on this one, but the colors are a bit too bright for me. I actually prefer the DC direct page puncher green arrow because i like the colors more. But, why on earth they didnt think to include the string on the bow?? That's a bit of a miss for sure. Great videos as always, D.
