Hi thank you for you video. it's incredible I'm learning woodcarving, and the sharpening is always the trickiest part. It's so hard to get a sharpening as good as out of the factory. What is the brand of your stones ? NAniwa? What is the grit of the 2nd stone ? 2000?

Your chisels will be sharper than when they left the factory If you get better at chiseling. I use a grinding stone made by a manufacturer called "KING" and a natural grinding stone. The second type of grinding stone I use is a #1000 grindstone.

Thank you very much. Could I ask you to please add japanese closed caption to this video? I know it would be a lot of work, but I would love to understand what you said, even if I need to translate the closed caption myself later. Thank you very much.

I don't understand a word you say, and I wish I could, because you obviously have much knowledge, even more skill, and the heart of a true artist, and I could learn countless amazing things from you!! I think you are sharpening your tools! With 800 and 1000 grit stones! Am I correct??? I have my knives sharpened by a butcher in my city, and it looks alot like this! I get mesmerized watching this! Your tone of voice, and the repetitive strokes are what does it to me!! Kind of like meditation, kind of like being hypnotized!! Thank you for an amazingly relaxing session!!! It was AWESOME!!!!
