Thoughts on Gilas. 1. I appreciate CJ Perez that he has improved his 3 point shooting but he is still small for his position 6'2 shooting guard. I notice that he has having difficulty giving a spot to Junemar and Kai sotto, kaya madalas nya gawin mag drive nlng tlga sa basket. 2. For Calvin Oftana, he is scoring high in the PBA but in Fiba, minimal lng tlga shooting nya. You can see him just waiting for a pass "naghihintay lng ng bola" while his teammates are moving, doing seals, screens. 3. For Mason Amos and Kevin Quiambao, they still need to be exposed in a Professional League and be developed there, they are times that you would really notice that they feel disoriented with the plays. Minsan nag aalangan kung ititira o ipapasa. 4. I think it is really time to add Jordan Heading who can fill in the struggles of gilas in 3 point shooting and also add Ray Parks Jr which is right now performing well in Japan. Ray Parks is 6'4 SG can also play SF and he has a defense too. Lastly Quentin Millora Brown to add Gilas Bigs. 5. The old era triangle is really effective sa starting unit but on the second unit I think they should have modern triangle plays so they can have counter attack even if they are well scouted by an opposing team.
