It is a difficult time too leave Rosie, your parents are older I wanted to move far but honestly I have not left because my mother now she is resting in heaven with our Lord, but now I have my father! Go on vacation there first in the summer. I have relatives on my dads side there Tia's, Tio's & Primos. My daughter moved from Oxnard, CA. to Cedar Park near Austin. She likes it there said the weather takes getting used to. She moved on January 1st so she was there when the freeze hit. She likes the schools her 13 yr old son has ADHD some Autism and he likes it there better says kids are much nicer there. Her 9 yr old daughter likes it too. My daughter was used to seeing the way young girls dressed here in California trying to be older, but there she said they're all covered up dressed approximately for their age. Even with the pandemic she said things are open but still takes precautions. Only thing is the wages are way lower than California but so is housing in Texas. There's always a trade off.
