Hello sir, very informative video. I just want to add few more reasons in this. 1- Sometimes infected knifes are used to make salads in restaurants. Same knife for pork cutting & same for vegetables chopping. 2- Second important reason is dirty water is given for irrigation. Water came from savage or dirty water canals is used to give water to vegetables. This is used commonly. Very sad but true.

My viewpoint regarding above video is unhygenic practices during procurement, pretreatments and cooking of foods, where leafy vegetables could be a source of tapeworm if cultivated sources are irrigated with sewage water, manures used are made from garbage etc. Vegetables( especially leafy) procured from such sources could get contaminated and if not blanched, eaten raw or cooked partially or unhygenically can transfer such nematodes in our food. Pigs too get infected as they like feeding in such dirty garbage filled areas. Dr. Sahib it's generally seen and may have some connection with infection in humans. Thanks and regards

Irrespective of whether the case is rare or undocumented always wash your leafy greens in vinager solution, keep chopped veggies in it for few minutes or in boiling water before consumption.. Dr. Sir, i would like to tell u from where this miss conception had came, once long back, right 15-18 years ago, on discovery channel, they should a documentary on human diseases, in which they showed that, a man was having such brain headache problem, after long investigation, they came to conclusions that, it came from cabbage, and that cabbage farm was beside pig farm, where all dirt of pigs was drawn in that cabbage farm, so was that farm cabbage infected with these worms, and later he consumed this cabbage, and got sick. Its very dangerous to divert dirt of animals and also human's, on farms. Besides this don't eat raw vegetables, unless properly washed, and better to cook well.
