Yes of course. It was removed in 1.12 I think. You can see a glimpse of it in the end of part10 .. it hurts!

Repairing before selling isn't worth time btw

Not? Lets say I have a wand that sells for 13000 and I repair it for 5000 and now it sells for 25000. I think it's ok profit for one click. Sometimes it doesn't increase the price as much, not sure how it exactly works but yeah more often the value increases much more than the repair cost was. I know it's different in post LoD where you always get the full price when you sell no matter how broken the item was.

Why v1.06? That's even more outdated than v1.09!

Because it's the last patch before changes that LoD brought even to Classic Diablo 2. Immunities, Cast delays, a lot of changes to itemization etc.

Yes but if you choose to make a Classic character in the current game (Diablo 2 Resurrected for example). You don't have Runewords you can't go Act5, there is not Elite items. It is essentially the same game as in my videos but different. Because it brought Immunities and many other changes to Classic also from LoD which I think none actually wanted. But I see the point why they did it especially for the itemization which I think they wanted to harmonize between the two versions ( Classic and LoD ) It's like comparing World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King Classic to World of Warcraft Classic. In WotLK you can still level up in the original areas but your skills and talents are different and itemization has changed a bit. Also you gain more XP etc. If you play the original WoW Classic it is as close as possible to the original experience.. even though even thats not quite the same but very close. Also Infinity was not even in the game in 1.09 :) To be honest I did enjoy 1.09 LoD more than 1.10+. Mainly because of the too OP runewords that came in 1.10 and later. (spirit, insight, enigma etc.) But yeah. This version was the one where I started D2 and I always loved it. When Xpack was released I didn't play very long until I went back to Classic and I was disappointed how it had also changed in some parts. Thats why I'm not revisiting it and also uploading the content for someone to see how it was like :)

Isn't that a reason why it drops? I'm already looting items, rearranging inventory and going back to town to sell them :) I guess they accumulate majority of gold but picking them up 500-800 stacks doesn't take that much time. Gambling is one of the best sources of getting good items in this version so gold is needed.

@@akse It's just a waste... you're selling those body armors for 25000, why waste time picking up 300 gold? I played D2 for years back in highschool, dont think I ever picked up a pile of gold haha

Most of the pickups I do really don't take much extra time when I click them while running. Of course I haven't timed it but basically it's free money compared to running to town and selling when inventory is full. And generally what I looked at it's 500-800 piles of gold. 20 piles of gold is like 10k which is ok. Also I rarely min max everything in any game. I just click the gold pieces if it feels good :) I guess it's the satisfiying sound and the clean ground ..!
