How is infinity on merc just not flat out a better choice? I get the benfit of the other auras, but infinity aura with -resists just slaps even harder, especially with Phoenix on sorc.

They shuold make fireball effect for hydra or buff dam radius for fireball. This build quite fun but clear speed slower than light build, only good thing is fast boss kill.

I don't play hardcore myself but I think ES is a must have for hardcore. Maybe use Tgods instead and get the FCR from rings and amulet.

Cold source is definitely better just because it's waaayyyy cheaper u have a very very expensive build the average player will never have a quarter of what you have you only need a quarter of the stuff you have for a cold source it's always had always will be the most op build in the game fire is very very hard to get through hell without great gear and most ppl can't do it

I gave this a chance because I am running out of builds to try. I made my first phoenix and flickering flame. Unforyltunately I only have 3 fire skillers. I didnt try the act 5 merc even though i can make a plaque. So sluggish and sloppy and untanky. It feels soo good to be playing my nova sorc again. I agree with u that nova is better. I didnt give it the full try but i was just too far off from my goals.. P8 sucks. Anyone know what the best D2R fire build is?I want to use this phoenix and flickering flame 😊

Thank you. I never care about MF. It ultimately depends on you luck whether you have MF or not. I got my gears are through farming and trading. I will have more videos in the future. I just don't have much time right now.

I mostly farm on my own, because every drop will guarantee be mine. Also, most public games are short and more laggy. Only time I farm in public games was leveling my Barb to 99 since he kills very slow compare to my other characters but he's very tanky.

@@BackstreetBoys411 I think so, although I don't really use my Javazon to farm even she's one of my fav besides Nova sorc, because I don't push FCR for my build on her. FoHdin in CS is very good also. Sorc is probably still the best because her tele speed.

3 pc tal set gives u -15 fire res on weapon, with FF it will be around -30, with 2 facets i dont need infinity or phoenix, i tested infi and no infi version, difference was not that big also meteor is great, u just need to get used to cast delay and timings , its awesome when monster density is high

Just started putting mine together yesterday. I'll be running 30/30 war axe pheonix 35/13 5 5 viper 2 20 ammy 2 fcr rings FF mages tri res. Infy merc basic set up. I built nova in the beginning and I love fb/hydra more than cold and nova more than any soso build extremely strong and super fun in pvp.

Nice. I also like Cold the least and Nova the most. I think it's because both Blizzard and Orb have cool-down, and Blizzard doesn't hit all the time. Nova is just too good.

Can use in higher player game and boss like Baal. I think all sorceress should put at least 1 point to Static Field. It's only 1 point.

I never care about MF, so I don't have much, if at all. I think it's very hard to achieve 300%MF here without sacrificing damage output and resistances.

I run about 300% with the same skills - except I maxed fire mastery first - but 4 piece Tals, Isted, and so on. The clear speed for /p1 is imho pretty much the same except for very tanky guys, eg the last baal wave

Im stuck between nova and fire sorc only because I feel clear speed for mobs nova wins but when it comes down to dps on bosses and ubers fire sorc just slams the time to kill feels instant even on players 8.

I personally have a nova sorc with -100% to enemy lightning res and she takes down bosses extremely fast on players 8. She even takes down Baal fairly quick. The -100% is key if you’re strictly farming bosses in players 8. You would need a 2/20% fcr amulet to make the build work though.

@cjdig86 i agree its effective aside from baal being annoying unless you have cure. but mass hydra/fire ball and meteor uncomparable kill speed for bosses. the mobs feels like knife through butter with nova sorc. I have both builds I play nova more tho lol found my first unearthed wand in durance 3 last month 40 something mf i was in shock.

I've never try ubers with this sorc, but people said it's viable since the fire stacking is great for preventing ubers regen health.

Needs to be instant cast drop and then normal cool down to be more useful
