Diablo 3 - MP10 Barb Legendary Farming Build

For starting up the WOTB and Battle Rage, i'ts very simple if you play with the 5 piece IK set. Just switch out one of your passives with animosity. In like 5-10 seconds you are at maximum fury, and you can start right away.

Legendary items make a loud sound when they drop. Also, they show up as a large orange star on your mini-map, as well as the big map. Therefore, if you just check your big map for any giant orange stars before you leave the game, you won't miss any legendary drops. :)

Well he mentioned that in the video already but in any case, give it a few months and people will have far more essences than they can even craft with. This would be a great way of bringing up the gold stash back up to par.

wow this build is serious business. i was able to beat my top 'massacre kill streak' in 15 minutes of using it on a barb that ive played for like 300 hours lol. keeping up WOTB is much easier now too since i am constantly hitting things with the rend bleed dmg/tornaods/WW. very cool. my gear is nowhere near as good as moldrans but i can still do mp8-mp10 really quickly. very fast clears--skipping elites that is

i spent over 500 million to change my hammer mp5 build to this mp 10 build . I may not have as much damage as you do but it very fun to play with . And the rend really really speeds up killing of mobs. For me its mp 8 the fastest and easiest . I m doing the tri-run and gets like 55-71 million exp per hero depends on my luck of finding elites . And i never tried brawler before and it worked like a charm. Oh btw you need LIFESTEAL on this build. Moldran pwns so much cuz he got insanely good gear.

Pro Tip: Carry around your IK boots (to get 4 piece set bonus) to generate initial fury needed to get rolling.

MP10 Only! This is a great build and works well. Can be done with 20M spent but the farming is slower. (Which is expected when ur poor) I find that 575 all resist, and 48K hp, and 120k unbuffed dps is the minimum to get the hang of this build. 50% crit, and 475% crit dmg. is a must to maintain proper use of this build. Like i said i created a barb for my cousin with all these stats for actualy 14m. Last you can do the build with 39khp but u have to be perfect at avoiding the green suicide faties

This build is for people that dont have much gold to spend. I use WW and HotA , ww for groups and Hota for elites/ubers bosses. Use the passive on WOTB that increases the length of the effect by 1 second for ever 25 rage gained. I trumps the passive that increases dmg by 100% because you can WOTB technically for as long as there is a enemy around and that equals TONS OF MORE DMG then just 15secs of 100% more dmg. I have had WOTB up for an entire realm of turmoil fight with that passive.

2 questions: is this build possible without high end or higher tier gear? like for a barb with gear to farm mp1-4? any alternative builds? really getting bored of whirlwind. and how do you keep WOTB up all the time with this build?

Might be a noob question but i find it hard to move and generate the first fury as there is no fury builders. is there a trick to just auto attack by holding in a button or something like that? as my left button is rend it always spam that faster then i can cast battle rage or WotB. thx for a great build!

For paragon leveling the most efficient run is in arreat crater lvl2 where you only kill tormented stingers. (Raoha has a video where he shows that) This is only for legendaries. Grabbing yellows is pointless except for rings or amulets, the rest is 99.9% garbage on every monster power.

Yeh its good for leveling, just go to AC2 instead of KD2 and kill only the scorpions Im sure moldran did a video on that also, you should check it out

For a barb like this, you also need different equip and have to adapt to a new playing style. As Moldran said, the stat importance is shifted pretty severely as well. Calling this a whirlwind barb variant wouldn't really be correct, since the main attack skill is rend now. In my opinion it is justified to call this an "mp10 rend barb".

Yes both the mini map and the normal map shows a big star if a legendary drops.

Just tried this on my barb, paragon 97 US server (belton#1555). 3-4 mins clears, 7-10m xp per. Great for xp farming. also, 8 legends in first hour. Great guide!

dont forget a lot of people have reduced rend 3 fury thats where the problem comes in the rend hits to fast loos that tell them not to do it or you will dry up 2 fast

rend will tick them down and kill them. any legendaries that drop will appear on the mini map.

You can easily get the starting fury for a battlerage and a sprint at keep1 wp from hitting the table and chairs :) Then you go keep2 sprint in the first mob pack and hit Overpower before them :)

Sometimes you get double legendaries, sometimes you get 1 a run for 3 in a row, and sometimes you can play for what seems an hour with nothing!

Use WW with wind sheer, warcry with impunity for rage generation if thats your main problem. But i find that if you find something to bash a few times before you start you will be just fine. He told you to use WW with hurrican but that is garbage trust me. Wind sheer makes it to where you almost always have full rage in groups of enemys. Now my barb has way better stats then yours but the idea is the same. Also i used rend with the lifegain passive. It helps man try it.

My mistake this is not for low end dmg barbs. You could not do this on Mp10 without over 200k dps. I was thinking of another build for some reason.

I tried it... Got 2 legendaries in around 40 minutes although I had to WW a lot because my crit rend wouldn't kill them... In one... I have 180k dps unbuffed... Maybe it was my method..
