Just found that Crusader Shield when playing on my Monk. I haven't even fully leveled a crusader to 70 yet, but I might do that and try out this build. Looks pretty awesome!

Thanks for the guide. I'm thinking of removing the mobility slot for GRs as the monster density is much better, dead ends are shorter, and you can always respawn where you die.

Hey Deadset, nice guide as always ;) What gem would you recomment as a replacement for Taeguk in GRs. I really dont like it with those 4 seconds, being at 60 stacks and making one mistake feels so horrible :(

Stampede is much much safer and better for single targets (Rift guardians), but it is hard to gear.

roganbear x He isn't using it for the T6 run, but watch the rhythm in the GR 40 run. He hits q, w, and r on about a 1 second interval for the entire rift, even when there is nothing around and he is just wasting his wrath with condemn. If you compare his normal gameplay (T6) to the GR 40 rift, you can see that there are clear differences. In the T6 rift he has rather consistent intervals on condemn, but there are still times where you see him press the button twice because he hits it before the global cooldown is up. He only hits akarat when it comes off cooldown. In his GR 40, he is robot like consistent. Including hitting akarat every second during when it is on cooldown and using abilities when there is nothing around him. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he probably using it to keep himself from getting carpal tunnel. Instead of using it to get a competitive advantage. I've seen some of his other stuff, and he is a skilled gamer.

Pekpik he's not botting/macroing, he streams. u can see him playing, as far as a macro when he is low wrath, he is not, i have a near identical crusader to his and the reason he doesn't stop spamming is to keep the charges up on taekguk gem because it drops off so quickly.

I would like to ask for an opinion on a GR item build variation. I've replaced my Leoric's Crown with an Akkan Helm and my pants with the Hexing Pants of Mr Yan. I have 56.2 CDR from the other items, everything else preety much BiS with optimal stats, while using the exact skill variation with Shield Glare and Iron Skin as mentioned in the video. The pants increase both my damage and my resource regen while moving. Having this said, what would your personal thoughts on this variation be? Anybody's feedback would be kindly appreciated :)

Tollymon Hexing are an option; ideally though, you'd want to drop RoRG combos in favor of 6 piece Akkhan, SoJ and Unity. In the coming patch Conduit shrines are no longer an option for clearing the RG, so Slash - Zeal will be back for good, I think. And with a generator, Wrath management is a breeze =)

Isnt getting vit on sword instead of 10% dmg and condemn damage on shield more optimal? Going from 30% to 45% condemn is 11,5% dmg increase so its already better than 10% on sword but what is more you can get up to 1125 vit on sword compared to 750 max on shield.

Yes and no. It could work either way, but all damage is based on weapon damage. Therefore, even a smaller increase in theory gives bigger gains to total damage output.

Brandon Davis In my consideration I used total condemn damage which takes weapon damage into account. Total condemn damage is weapon damage*condemn skill bonus (as I didnt consider changes in other factors). So either 1.1*1,3 or 1.0*1,45. First option gives 1,4% less damage.

Funny, after I hit 70 in S2, the shield and sword dropped. Kadala will not give me the Akkhan gauntlets. I've spent over 2k shards.

No, the two most important pieces with making this Build work, are the Blade and Shield (Akkhan's of course too), without either, you cannot do this build. Everything else is arguable, however the efficiency of the build will fluctuate.

Okay so how are you able to cast Condem over and over so fast like that? I have a pretty built Crusader with a %35.16 Cool down reduction... Do I need to get that higher? Just confused cause I see so many people do it and I can't seem to figure out how to do it :( Any help please!? TY!

Condemn is affected by the global cooldown, not simple cooldown, and yes 35% is too little, you need to have 56% at least and the 6set Akkarath bonus for this build to work,

You need the new shield, Frydehr's Wrath, which takes away the cd. Look it up. Outside of that, you also need the 56% CDR, but that's primarily to keep Akarat to lessen your wrath spending, and huge defense boost.

probably won't happen, when RoS launched there was a few crusaders that found a thorns spec and it was i guess way too powerful, people 1 shoting t6 bosses so blizzard nerfed thorn damage, unless blizz changes something i don't see it becoming viable
