Just an FYI for those who don't know. On 2.1 PTR right now .Baleful remnant now procs Phalanx's on kills but you DON'T have to get the kill..just an assist..I believe this is a huge buff and a pet build is seemingly more viable now in groups Deadset if you could test on PTR this would be great!

Man I wish I had that six set bonus! 150 hours on my crusader and I've found one helm and three gloves :( I do run the same build though. Just with Asheara's and hammer of justice for now. I have to admit Asheara's proc can make the whole army concept pretty fun. Especially when you get then well geared! Nothing like your IAS and elite damage stacked Enchantress whacking away with her furnace for chunks of hp under a 50% attack speed buff.

A physical damage Lidless Wall can also work, but then you really can't afford to miss a piece without cooldown reduction! =)

Nice build. One pointer, I think u underused ur stede charge especially during low wrath periods. It's cool down only so get a bit of extra dmg in but running through bosses or mobs while ur wrath or cool downs replenish.

Yup, fair point. I've noticed it myself, I tend to underuse Steed Charge and slow down my runs unnecessarily. =)

Solid build. But I have some suggestions to improve(?) it even more. Your Rondal's Locket is very nicely rolled, but how about a nice Haunt of Vaxo? Considering the two minions spawn when you stun an enemy (this procs all the time with Stampede), and the minions themselves deal significant damage. Then a nice rune for Judgement is Conversion, where judged enemies have a 20% chance to be converted into minions who fight for 5 seconds and deal 100% of your damage. So basically if all the minions proc, you will be having 5 minions PLUS as many as Judgement spawns. That's a lot of pets, and a lot of damage being thrown around.

Agreed 100% on the Haunt of Vaxo, it will compliment the build very nicely. I tried that Judgement rune before but was dissatisfied with the actual conversion rate, so I opted for Falling Sword as something that reliably spawns Avatars. What skill would you replace for the Judgement? =)

Deadset Gaming You're right. There isn't really a skill to replace. I really like having Akarat in any build, therefore the only skill that could get replaced here is Bombardment, but as you said that is one of the biggest damage dealers. Then again Judgement is also useful for the snare. Well I guess on lower torments you could swap out Bomb for Judgement, just for the shits and giggles!

Switch your shield out for the one that does double phalanx. Makes this build much better. You have 8 horses that come out. Doubles the damage. Melts t6 easily

Damn, pretty neat build I think much better compared to the Holy Shotgun which I did not like much although it has its merits and instead went for 6 second CD ion cannon build. Just got my Akkhan Helm today at 166hrs crusader, I might go and use this Lord Commander build to atleast get to T5, T6 if possible. So far I can't go at T5 at all with the 6 second CD ion cannon with Fate of the fell + Eberli Charo and some CD affixes can only go max T4. I think with the phalanx stampede it might be pretty nice, Tested it just now and the casting is much better than when fires of heaven is casted for holy shotgun. Now I just need to get phys damage bonus on necky, shield and soj + maybe another akkhan chest plate since I Accidentally enchanted the wrong affix and now can't put 3 socs..... But really nice build imo, never could've imagine using the phalanx stampede as a spender but spam enough of it and it is really deadly and the knockback is a nice icing on the cake.

Hey deadset! Let me ask you... how much coldown reduction you have with these equipes? In that build i have 39,49 but with the Fire Starter i have 49,93. I see you cd reduction from akkarats is very fast with lord commander build.

Hi deadset, after taking a break from my crusader and playing barb, i'm back on crusader again. I've got the flail, the shield, bracers with phys, and an andariels visage with phys so I decided to adopt this build. Problem is, I only have 1 akkhan's piece, my armor. Do you recommend any changes to the build if I don't have the full set? Maybe change stead charge into a generator? but which one? I have reaper's wraps, it helps with the wrath. I also have schaeffer's, maybe I should go with that build since it's not as wrath intensive.

Without a high uptime of Akarat, the Baleful Remnant isn't going to benefit you as much, so you can go for other weapons - Mortal Drama, any other good 2 hander, or even a Doombringer (1hander with physical) + Lidless Wall with physical bonuses. You'll probably need to run a generator like Justice - Hammer of Pursuit. =) But yes, Blessed Hammer builds tend to be less demanding on your gear, and are a safer choice

Deadset Gaming Funny, I recently picked up a mortal drama with 10%cdr. I think I'll stick with blessed hammer for now since i'm broke and I can't reroll my phy amy to have crit dmg and my mortal drama to have a socket. Would you say that thunder god's > harringtons for the hammer build? would you recommend hexing pants for hammer as well? Thanks for replying!

Yeah, Thundergods is a refreshing change you make in Lightning builds =) It fits very well. Hexing pants should also fit in nicely - I'll admit I've never tried them, though!

nice build, enjoyed it more than any other because it wont shake or flash the screen all the time, clean build hearing horses stampeding all the time is refreshing. But how do you manage to get 25k mil hits, ive tried build without any added phys dmg ( no 60% added) and no gloves, could only crit for around 7Mil having even higher sheet dps. I wonder if those gloves could add 10Mil to horses damage

a 30% elite damage boost can also help increasing the damage against elites/boss, usually attainable through stone of jordan, and can also be enchanted to shield, weapon and belts.

Jason Guo The 4 set bonus gives 50% resource reduction while on Akarat's Champion. The 6 set gives 50% cooldown reduction on Akarat's Champion. Also for some reason you need more than 50% cooldown reduction (about 54%) to have it permanently activated.

One thing I don't like about this build is that the horses keep knocking back the enemies, making all the mess in team play mode.. In team play mode, I think it is better to use phalanx without any rune.
