For this build, why not go with the Bul-Kathos's Oath weapons set? It's a constant 45% attack and movement speed increase and your fury is always at 100% no matter what. It's what i've been running and it seems to do just as well

Well Rhykker thanks to you I've breached GR100 for the first time, and I've been playing for quite awhile (after a long hiatus for this season). I never thought a Barbarian would surpass my MS Demon Hunter but you made it happen. I do prefer the Bul'Kathos blades, though, as I just like to click it and forget it in terms of Fury gen. Slayer + Little Rogue is good but those gaps in enemies are annoying. Also traded out Sprint for Leap for those gosh-awful Wallers. Thanks again man - keep up the solid guides.

You are not meant to use spear for damage. Only on high rifts do you even use spear. It is for grouping big packs together then you run in, ground stomp and manually rend + whirlwind. Anything below tier 100 you're fine just using whirlwind and maybe manual rend on blue mobs.

hey Ryker, i've been running a ww build for the last 4 seasons. After that i stopped running seasons to work on this build. I have 3 primal pieces, added to this build. Also on the rings try running the walk set with skull grasp, for added ww damage of 349%. And the endless walk set for the ammy and second ring. I'm also using the dreadiron belt for the passive earthquake. my 3 gems are Taeguk gem, Esoteric Alteration, & mutilation guard. bulkathos set is better then the little rogue and slanderer set. i have a perfect roll on both weapons and one's primal. my belt is primal and my shoulders for the ww set are also primal And my skills are war cry with vet warning, Earth quake with molten furry, ground stomp with trembling stomp, and lastly wrath of the berserker with arreat's wail as fire. both my weapons do fire damage to increase damage output. cubed i have ambos pride, lamentation, and ring of the zodiac. on the chest piece i have 3 royal rubies, and 2 royal Diamonds on my pants. base damage of 2.74 mil, toughness is 105 mil unbuffed, and recovery is 3.9 mil unbuffed. I've also tried all the variants of this build. And fire Whirlwindrend barb is the best ! btw enchantments of adding a lvl 100 gem to all you're ancient legendary items. but i'm sure everyone knows that lol. have a great day and keep up the great work !! also subbed.

The same here. I used the bull kathos weapons instead. The fury no longer decreases. Also, removed the ancient spear and replaced with Furious Charge. I believe that in terms of damage it may be a little bit less, but it's extremely better and much more fun.

You can double rend in-between WW safely without losing the important buffs. And doing so means more damage too, you can technically triple rend in-between but it's getting risky then.

You can as well put two pieces od immortal set somewhere, it will make your ancients last until they die (they dont), they have a rune which give you 4 fury every time one of them attacks. Thats a full fury 0-24.

@@dameeroN1 Nah, if fury is really a problem, take the war cry rune that gives 50 fury and stack cooldown. With messershmidt's in the cube, and the windshear whirlwind rune you should have loads of fury.

Thank you Rhykker for your video and explanation. I have what I hope is quick question. What are your thoughts of using a 5-2 split with the barb set and the crimson set? I'm trying to figure out why this version is not being tried so I must be missing something. This is what I've found so far. I cant use the mantle nor the convention ring. The mantle is 25% damage gain and 25% damage mitigation on a perfect roll. The CoE ring is a 200% gain to one damage type. There are 7 damage types so that's really an average gain of 28.6%. Put it all together and I appear to lose 53.6% damage and 25% damage mitigation. When I use the crimson set, I gain 60% cdr (so thats 60% more damage) and some 35% damage reduction. This appears to be better than the build described here. However, when I look at the ladder, no one is using this version so what I am missing or not understanding? I'm hoping you and the other gurus can throw me a bone! Thankyou.

Awesome guide! Barb has been my go-to ever since the game launched. That being said, I don't like that speefarm build. I much prefer the BK weapons, it's much easier to play and leaves you more relaxed, less buttons to press makes for a less stressful farming session.

I wonder the potential of the solo push build if using LPH on one wep, and LPH on bracers in place of CHC...While running scoundrel and milking those 100% CHC clouds, taking away CHC from all gear and replacing it with CDR and IAS where applicable, and base damage, area damage, CHD on rings? Or would the 50k-60k lph not be enough to compensate for the templar being gone?

So...why Pig Sticker for the follower? The given reason is "stat stick", but so far as I know, Int/Vitality are really all that are useful there, maybe life per hit. We're not taking the follower for their ability to deal damage, so I'm not sure what function the attack speed is serving, and to my understanding the bonus damage to beasts and Humans isn't really doing anything. Couldn't we give them a 2 hander to get more mileage out of base stats?

At 22:03 you say Crit Chance first then Crit Damage second, but your graphic has it the other way around. I'm assuming crit chance first is correct so you can actually land the crits more often?

Thanks for the awesome walk through! Getting up there, hit 94 a bit ago but need my gems up more. One thing I am confused on is the Ground Stomp every 8 seconds, but the cool down is 12 seconds. Does one of the items knock that cool down... down? Thanks for the manual casting Rend. I was not aware of that! That would explain a lot of things! Just need that stupid Obsidian Ring and will have everything. 99 pieces of beer on the wall, 99 pieces of beer....

Alwaays grp up the mobs. You will have no problem with fury management in higher GRs, but for Neph and Bountys there are some problems because the mobs die too fast. This is why you need the "speed" build.

Absolutely! If you want full control over your cc and don't want your follower building up cc immunity on enemies, then definitely don't take the freeze or wyrdward. You won't be doing a ton of cc yourself outside of spear and stomp though, so not as critical as with other builds

I just started this season a week ago and came up with a better build using the new follower gear. There are plenty of set items they can wear that gives you the set buffs and normal legs. Now I know my build won't be great for group play but solo is a blast and I got to GR 100+ faster than I ever have

Also without in-geom u only lose 10sec cool down, I just feel like not having to worry about fury helps, and if your worried about elite dmg u could always use bane of the stricken

7:40, played on Ps4 with 10k paragon and one shoted rift guardians with random builds all these little numbers can be off scaled with more levels, if you cant do it at ur current level. just grind a 100 and try again. 100P Levels= 500 str. (basicly equiping another peice of gear) also works in with my other comment.

Hi Hitora san! If an item rolls with a resistance as a secondary stat, then it can't roll all resistance. Sounds like you've been unlucky with the pants you found, but in the meantime, it's fine to use the ones with armor.

There is a 10% regeneration power. You can also use the shout instaed of somw other skill.

The GR lvl your doing is probably to low to maintain the uptime for Fury. If your killing enemies to quick Fury doesn't get a chance to build and maintain. Rogue set builds your primary resource per hit if there is nothing to hit it won't build up.

If you have band of might you have a few seconds before you loose your buffs, so manually cast rend in huge crowds and elites

This build uses the "Wind Shear" rune on Whirlwind to generate fury. The Bul Kathos mighty weapon set also generates fury while using Whirlwind and is probably the most popular option.

You either have to keep getting the item over and over to try and get the best stats or accept them, honestly dude this is showing how to become a god in the game on the highest difficulty’s you don’t need the exact stats for it to work

not all the legendary powers apply to you, the reason why it's not on the templar is because it doesn't work on the templar as only a certain few legendary items work

No, they are not. There is no seasonal theme this time around. The follower update is a permanent addition. However, there is still a season's journey as per usual, as well as all the varying rewards that come with it.
