Thanks Wudijo! Could someone please explain the minimum requirement to change to lightning spear? No build video I've seen mentions the minimum cdr, conjuration mastery, conj cool down needed, I have a shako and Tyriels but don't wanna make the whole build just to not be able to spam lightning spear and sit there waiting 😂

I’m medium geared, 1 GA items and mostly triple MW crits where it matters, and I felt about the same in T7 horde, and killed the Fell Council noticeably quicker with the higher damage base. I was worried but I am not so worried anymore 👍

Maybe it’s changed to “every other crit with a lightning spear” so 50% less procs, then they gave it the 60% base damage bonus. Honestly with 25+ conjurations out there are still like 10 LS crits happening multiple times per second

I miss D3, where the "ONLINE WITH FRIENDS" was not a thing... now Blizzsghit is pushing the "Play with others" as a must (I hate that concept; I hate people), so they should implement better servers, but I guess the greed is too much so they nerf something fun.

I just played a couple of 8s, and I didn't noticed any difference, so from my perspective it isn't really a big deal. I could be wrong though, but doing 8s feels just as good, imo. EDIT: For context I have pretty GG gear. I get around 30-40 conjurations consistantly.

Yo man, thought I would ask one of the giant sorcs a question about pits with this build. I just did a 101, well I cleared the dungeon in 2mins ish. But got to the boss and just did scratches for 5 mins. Have you run any pits and had similar experience? Do you know if the boss health is bugged. Cause my dude is no slouch but it felt odd

@@Erkekjetter.Vladislav i think all boss healthes. like t85 nm dungeons are easy clap, pit above 50 is dogshit always getting oneshot even with the selig uber unique and 170 ressources, 70*resistance 9,5k armor etc. bosses are insanely tanky, barely get staggered after the 3rd time and deal oneshots that have to deal at least 120k before my unique reduces the dmg. cant even do t6 because after like 15mins the boss one tapepd me with like 3% hp left. deathtrap rogue sucks balls against that sht. would have been so much fun with twisting blades and using a deahtrap every 3s when i get it going.

I'm currently running the fireball build with both the arms and weapon unique.. I'm lvl 88, just dropped the necklace. Is it worth it to switch now, with the nerf, before I get the harlequin crest or should I just keep rolling fireball for now?

95% of people wont notice a change,me neither. It makes Hordes farming better imo because mobs can spawn now, and you have not to wait for the conjurations to disappear cuz the screen is full

6 is low. I did total 25 runs normal not tormented Zir just to get winterglass, it never dropped not even once. I got my winterglass from twitch streamer (Northwar) donated to viewers those he decided are worse than he had. Even really bad winterglasses are selling like 500m+ For some reason the rng is just against some of us

I'm sitting on 3 FWG which I got from... helltides. Not even a chest, just plain old loot drop. That was after doing a few dozen Zir runs. Not a single one. Ran off to do helltide since it spawned next door and bam! 3 drops from that one run. WTF is up with that RnG?

I use Fireball legendary gloves and while it's not clearing high tiers yet while playing solo, I can lag my session to where I'll randomly get one shot by desecrator because I couldn't see the incoming projectile. It's a tough thing when trying to execute high dmg which yields so many artifacts on the screen to a point where it can't handle during an online session which also makes me wonder if this game had offline would it even lag at all?

Lv. 100 here before the patch I was able to do tier 7 hordes without much worry. Now im getting instantly killed here and there by desecrator and ballistas. Hell if a little minion hits me it seems I die with this build.

I have a pretty well optimized build with 62 cdr and high attack speed to spawn as many conjurations and orbs as possible. Running t8 hordes today things definitely took longer to die. My build resolved around fist of fates to proc extra conjuration and orbs from winterglass. I may have to change to standard build with staff now.

Tal Rasha's have CDR, Fractured Winterglass has CDR per Frozen Orb explosion, and finally you can temper Lightning Spear CDR on your ring.

been working towards this build and havent found a winterglass yet solo. If lag is the issue maybe they should have fixed the lag issue but scaled the damage to compensate for it . Putting in for a long weekend to finally blast this season and then to wake up to this... come on blizz... seriously like half your players are playing or aiming for this build. Tier 7 nets you 25 neathiron per chest T6 nets you. The second tier one. Forgot the name lol T5 gets you obducite. So if you can run t7s comfortably, just run those and you’ll get tons on mats in no time.

Remember when blizzard nerfs anything they always nerf it to the ground. They never nerf “just enough” so if at max we are only allowed to have 5 or 6 lightning spears the build is dead and then some people can be on copium about it but if it’s at least 30 spears it’s still viable.

I know its sure not either to fix it, but instead of nerfing classes drive people mental well, they should fix and buff the servers and the code. Why are always Sorcs the ones that get constantly nerfed because they made a mess with the code? Absolutely trash move. Thank you for nerfing us again! And again. Let’s not be fooling us, to the new season or mid season everything is halfed in damage anyway. So Barbs are crying less. I don't think the aoe was nerfed much either, the arc less doesn't seem to really change all that much maybe it was a slight nerf where it bounces one or two times less often but the dmg increase probably makes up for it anyways

Before the nerf, I couldn’t do a T6 with this build. I have everything except Uber uniques. Nothing has changed for me after the patch. I don’t understand how I have all the gear but I can’t kill Lilith or get higher than a T5 hordes.

Something is wrong with your build. You need to go to maxroll and make sure your aspects are correct, also make sure you're stacking crit dmg to the high heavens along with cd. Even without purple gear, you should have no trouble in t7. t8 takes good gear. Something is definitely wrong, I hope you figure it out.

@@dustybrown4599 the only piece I don’t have the same as Maxroll, is my helm. I haven’t been able to find one with CDR for the life of me. And I have had terrible luck trying to roll for it. So I’m using a unique I have from the fireball build that has CDR. It’s the unique that grips mobs together when they get CCed. Everything else is exactly like maxroll says it should be. I don’t have max rolls on a lot of the stuff though. Like my chance to double cast lightning spear is like 79% instead of 100%. I’ve tried other weapons but I end up bricking them. Bosses just take forever to kill. Would the master crafts make that big of a difference? I’ve been farming to get the right upgrade procs but the highest I can get is 8/12 because I can’t kill the stuff that drops the higher tier crafting materials. I wonder if the Uber helm will make a big difference. I need to farm some boss mats so I can do the Uber bosses and try to get at least 1. Then I can craft the helm.

Not enough CDR, crit chance is too low, conjuration mastery and conjuration CD are too low. Focus those when masterworking and you’ll see a big change.

@@dustybrown4599 I got my Uber helm. Got carried through a Lilith and leveled my rogue to get my 4 sparks to craft it. So I was able to clear a T6 infernal, but boss kill time is sooooo slow. How much difference do glyphs make? I have them all at 15+ but none are maxed. CD is 40% Crit chance is 42% Crit damage is 1290% Spear CD? My fractured glass is .4 Conjurations skill is +7 My double proc of lightning spear is master crafted and sitting at like 82% ish.

Overall feels bad to be a frozen orb sorc. There's a significant dmg reduction. I think a little tweak to the frozen orb dmg would be nice. I cannot clear T7 Hordes with my build anymore. I'm not sure about the lightning spear builds however.

I soled yesteday after the patch The Beast of the Ice (Tormented) solo with Winterglass at 827 Gear level, and no UBERs. One Shot the Beast on my second attempt, the first one was a bit of a trail.. didn't die once. Varshan T-Mode, not a problem either.. Spear is still king, but yes you need to play a bit different. I manually launch Frozen Balls (lol) and do a lot of manual casting, not a ONE BUTTON WIN any longer that is for sure. So there's an aspect that makes the servers lag and instead improving the coding and upgrade servers they nerfed the aspect I work in IT/Data Center for 15 years and this is the most funny thing I heard in years, the memes with my colleagues will be insane lol

sure, compare data IT with gaming live servers. short term solution is to fix the aspect so players can enjoy the season now - long term fix will be the servers, but that will take time and I'm sure it's a topic on the board.

Is andy rogue as strong as sorcerer this season? I got 100 today as barrage rogue and can only do t4 hordes. Getting oneshots on t5 from first boss. Don't know if it better continue or switch to sorc

@@Chapaez I have both and Sorc feels much better for me, i don't really like the gameplay around the totem with Andys, it's fun at the beginning but gets annoying with time. I'd say Sorc is tankier, easier to play and faster in most content, but Andys has better damage and it can be fun if you like the gameplay. Landslide Druid feels really good and strong as wel if you wanna give it a try.

Barb feels in line with other classes for once, might need a slight bump but it needed the nerfs

They nerfed Gushing Wounds and Bash to the ground, wich was ok, because both were broken, but it was the only thing that actually did damage for the Barb. Now you need 4 Mythic items with triple GA to match any top build with average gear -_-.

@@yulfine1688 is it though? I re-speced my Barb the third time now and the only way I'm making progress is by farming stuff with my CL Sorc 😄. I can't even farm Pit 71 efficiently right now, something FO/Spear Sorcs and even Arrow Storm Rogues can do with lvl 90 and crap gear.

@@flowqi212 My lightning spear sorc could clear tier 6 on infernal hordes.. and I do ok, died once not having any unstop ready, tier 7 idk if I can clear, sorc is lvl 100 with mostly +8 gear with uniques, but only a couple with a single greater affix, so if you're clearing 70 and above so easily at lvl 90 your gear isn't crap, which I couldn't do previously withe the fireball sorc until I was able to switch setups.

Your analysis is completely off. My dps is more than halved. Aoe is reduced by about 70%. This is across all gear levels. This does not affect ammount of triggers like you discussed. It is still great but it sucks that people never got to experience the easy 150 pits and super clearing t8s in 4man boost groups. The big issue is that most of your followers are worse geared and never got to exoerience this god of a build and abuse it like we did. It is very bad.
