I'm using your S4 Boss Killer Minion Necro Build on Mobalytics... Been playing Diablo for years (I'm 44). I've always went my own way and designed my own builds.. Anytime I've used a Necro I've gone without minions. This season, for the first time ever I felt since it was a first for me running skellies, I'd get a little help. Having fun with this build, i also switched Army of the Dead to Bone Prison (Enhanced/Dreadful) and switched Corpse Tendrils (slotted Corpse Explosion as an active skill to spam without having to Blood Mist) with Blight (Enhanced/Supernatural - not skill slotted, proc's off Bone Prison), switched 2 Aspects for (forget the names, Bone Prison creates a Blight pool and Blight pool pulls enemies inside)

Instead of Army of Dead, I'm running Bone Prison which gives another source of Vulnerable, CC and CD reduction, and I put points into Blight so that I dont need to waste points on Hewd Flesh which does not proc at all for a minion necro, then slap on the Codex that makes bone prison trigger Blight, that 20% multiplicative damage from Blight on minions really helps.

Do you run corpse explosion plus blight? not sure how others feel but I prefer those two over blood mist + tendrils. The CD for those two make gameplay feel inconsistent for me atleast.

@@captinsprinkle7795 Ya I'm running corpse explosion and turned it into shadow Dot with the modifier, feels like we need as many sources of shadow damage as possible to trigger the Key passive. And the Codex that makes Blood mist trigger shadow Corpse explosion is way too good to ignore.

If you don't like that Corpse Tendrils aspect. Try putting on the other Blood Mist aspect. It makes it so it does Shadow damage which makes it so Shadowblight activates wayyy more often.

@@azriilamus2659 yeah it goes really well when you pair it with the other Blood Mist aspect as well. The one where it automatically activates Corspe Explosion. It will activate your Shadowblight so much & give you a heap more survivability. Also not sure what you mean by Blight Upgarde 2. Could you be more specific?

With the patch they are buffing bone storm barrier which means shadow bone storm with bone storm duration and barrier bone storm will give infinite barrier protection.

I've followed your first build damn near perfectly. I changed the Gems in the pants to have 1 Sapphire & 1 Emerald to give the extra 100 willpower & dexterity. Those were able to give me the extra bonus dmg to healthy & Injured enemies plus armor from the 3 rare nodes in the Scent of Death board. Thanks for doing the leg work on creating the build.

Used a similar build and tried many. If you do world content or lower pit like 70-90 mist is good survival. But you need dmg output thats higher for endbosses in pit. Remove mist and use blight , change a few talent points think it was around 10 and you will deal alot more dmg. Takes sometime getting used to and its harder because you need to move but finished Pit 110 yesterday. Was stuck on 95 with mist build

With Corpse Tendrils and Decrepify size being maxed at 100% It should be easy to get to 100% or in the high 90% with just 2 of each tempering when master crafting. So it seems to me that the 3 should be Corpse Explosion size, which would increase the blight pool size. Or Blood Mist cooldown reduction.

I think the better alternative is blood mist duration to get the longest possible i-frames. Being immune to damage can be crucial in the higher pits

The main reason to actually use explosive mist with shadow corpse and blood mist is the fact that you can consume corpses fast enough to sustain your buffs and you can literally stand on top of the boss to fully benefit from your hellbent commander. An ability that ends up not taking effect is you dance around the boss and spam skeletons

The issue with these Pit bosses is if it's one that doesn't spawn adds, you're screwed. Been stuck @ pit 102 cause I keep getting Outlaw Gunner. Thumbs up if you have this same issue.

My main problem is the defensive part. I get constantly oneshooted in Pit 80+. Got armor cap, all res at 70, 38k life, 20 doge, 24 dr, 21 dr close, crepify at 5 ... not sure what else to go for :/ Is it just a skill problem in the end?

You need at list more the 40k of life to avoid one shot ( use elixir ). You need also more dr: move harder bone aspect on amulet, or switch the powerof the blood golem for 30dr, or use harlequin crest to add more 20 dr

Been running a shadow minion build since day one. Drop corpse tendril bc the aspect doesn’t apply to minions and pick back up blight and use the void aspect. Got the good ol sucking power and an additional dmg buff for you and minion 🤗. Takes me all the way through pitts. It gets frustrating at times but skill issue if you don’t know mechanics, just keep learning as you push deeper ☝️

So I have a minion necro build, I'm not sure what version, million billion trillion damage lol anyway, I can clear all of the bosses on normal difficulty but the level 200 bosses are not dying. Golem mastery and hellbent commander affixes. And the right paragon board is the key. You have to copy it node for node if you want similar results. Also you need to have the same aspects, even just having one of them differ can be a huge loss in damage

I got both Tyrael's and Shako. Neither are better than a well-tempered Legendary. It actually made a substantial difference during my testing.
