Diablo 4 Rogue Build - Season 2 Penetrating Shot Rapid Fire Dungeon / Boss Endgame T100 Build

Dude, your build just saved my whole season! I've been following the rapid fire rogue build on MaxRoll and it absolutely SUCKS! I was dying to everything and barely putting up damage. I had almost perfect items and aspect rolls. I was getting very frustrated until I found this last night. With very little tweaking I was able to switch and now the game plays exactly like I want it to. I went from barely being able to survive a T60 to clearing T100 with no issue. Thank you so much!!

Even if you kill everything, if you're using undying you can force stop your character from moving (left shift on pc) and throw out puncture to heal up completely!

Your previous build was great , but this one looks even GOATER. I also have andariels and doombringer, only suggestion is crossbow fits better imo for this build , you can evade out of animation anyway and the vuln dmg is better with victimize . Also bigger numbers on crits. Great job Ty very much !

Turns out lucky hit chance does not cap at 100%, in other words, I thought if you had 100% lucky hit chance (Meaning all your attacks are lucky hit right) vs having like 130% lucky hit chance it would be the same, but oh how im mistaken. Basically you get double damage from using windforce on all penshot attacks. However after messing with it, there's quite a bit I'd have to change to get it functioning better.

Great build, now if i could only get lucky enough for the gear to drop on solo. Is it necessary to be in a group of 4 in a nightmare dungeon to get the gear? I have a few pieces but can't seem to get Tibaults Willl. Suggestions welcome. Thanks

I got tibults will, and a lot of tibult drops from duriel, so I'd recommend doing him. And I play mostly solo unless I'm doing boss rotations

Hey, thanks for the great build! Quick question, how do you do the ability at 1:10 where you fire a shot forwards and to the sides causing the huge aoe damage? Been trying to get it to work but i dont know what im doing wrong. Thanks

It's the aspect called trickshot, that allows penshot to split like that :)

Really liking the build. What would I be losing if I replaced Penitent Greaves with normal boots? I got a Shako and I lost a resist on helm. I can put resist on boots plus Dmg reduction etc and put skulls in rings instead of resist gems.

Could the legendary node "Cunning Stratagem" be beneficial especially with tibaults combo points madness? 33.3% increased arrow-count during rapidfire and massively increased luckyhit with penshot?

So I’m running a build that’s basically the same (I found it on Maxroll) but it’s using Close Quarter Combat as the Key Passive. Is Victimize still the way to go? Is there a significant difference with using Close Quarter Combat over Victimize?

Close quarters doesn't give any bonuses against bosses, I prefer victimize for pen/rapid. Close quarters is just a little harder to keep up with only 1 cut throat skill

The defense aspect umbrous, it gives you dark shrouds on lucky hit with marksman skills :)

Yeah poison would def be better for bosses, tbh iffu went all out into poison it would slap, and now I'm super tempted to do just that lol

What you think about X'Fals? Did you know that maxed Combopoints with Tibaults give you 400% Luckyhit on Penetrating Shot? So X'Fals combined with Poison Imbuement is crazier AOE the Shadow Imbuement worth trying :) great build guide thank you mate

iv been trying this build for a few days now with 3/4 stat rolls on everything and its just not performing that great. im trying to grind to get 4/4 and idk. well see. i was liking twisted blades more. i have doombringer but not andys

If its damage check the resource roll on your tibults, the higher the better, could also try using windforce

Main reason for tibults is the combo point bug, so regardless it will be super strong, but you can swap cold imbue for shadow step to get the unstoppable damage bonus.

I was under the impression that having over 100% lucky hit chance on a skill doesn't make a difference, like "30% to proc x on lucky hit" if all of your attacks are lucky hit you have a 30% chance to proc that effect on each attack if that makes sense, but thats just the wording I should probably test it tho

It's a screen shot from one of the dungeons. And if you're referring to the items shown in the video I was just showing my gear and what I was running in the gameplay, usually I state that but kinda spaced on it in this one. If youre talking about for the d4builds, I left all the spots empty that are using unique items.

The Legendary aspect Trickshot :) can be dropped randomly or you can get the codex in one of the dungeons (I forget the exact name of the dungeon)

I would use some legendary pants until then, but those pants give so much damage that you should try and get them as fast as you can. They drop from duriel pretty often

unfortunately, as good as this build is, rogue cannot do high end content it is too squishy. i have capped res and reach max armor in NM 100 and i get 1 shotted all the time, rogue will not be viable for the new content coming.

It’s the same as to say “you’re so smart running with those vampiric powers, who are you without them?” And the answer is simple- Eternal realm player. If you don’t want all that, go look at builds for eternal and stop bothering people preparing for upcoming leaderboard.

@@Anemorta except the vamp powers were purposely tuned and added the way that they are. The barber heart in season 1, while overpowered, was tuned and offered that way by blizzard and didn't lead to criticism of people using it, while at the same time some people electing to make builds that don't use the barber heart (and yes, I ended up going back to the eternal realm during season 1). Exploiting a bug that in return gives you 10x to 20x more damage than blizzard intend (blizzard never intended for max resource to increase the combo points cap), is a much greyer area.
