People people tend to overlook the root of the problem. No seasonal content will save this game, it is the core game that is what needs fixing. The seasonal content is just the spice on the BBQ stake, but no matter how well you season it, if the meat is a thin, tough and sinew piece of garbage, the whole meal is ruined.

I enjoyed your video and take. I haven't played since season 1 and it's interesting to see how things progressed. Like you, after hitting around 80 I lost incentivization to play, despite overall enjoying the gameplay mechanically, until it becomes repetitive. One of my issues too is the world of D4 has felt too barren and uninteresting to explore. I feel like there lack of (creative, inspiring) environmental storytelling and I would love for them to make me want to look around more. I haven't seen your other videos yet but I would be curious what some of the most glaring issues of this season are and potential fixes. I do feel like there's a lack of inspiration and creativity from Blizzard about Diablo and there's opportunity from indie developers to better scratch the itch, if people don't just go and play PoE

It's actually great imo, I'm enjoying playing it while watching movies and stuff. Since the patch its been snappy and responsive again, the Senechal is actually useful and my menstrual Barbarian is super fun to play. Nice change from Mage last season.

Trap dodging for "chest tokens" is a no go. Abandoned my seasonal character as soon as I realized the intent of the vault mechanic. I don't feel any effect of the mechanical pet on gameplay, it's as if it weren't there. The vaults feel like a complete waste and misuse of time for the chance of "maybe nothing" at the end and just one hour older than when I started. I don't get Blizzard's infatuation with the "empty grind".

100% I gave up once i read what was happening I knew it would be junk sadly I cant believe i started the season got to level 10 and said yeah nahhh

Gonna have to disagree. I'm having a great time. Mob density is fantastic, fast respawns. Leveling seems to be much faster than in previous seasons, or maybe skills damage has been boosted. The little spider bot is pretty good, and cute to boot. I also enjoyed season 2, so what do I know.

Let it go. I quit at Season 1 and it is liberating. Last Epoch is better by leaps and bounds. No contest.

There was no end game content in a game that really needs end game content. There was no multiplayer in a multiplayer game. No LFG dungeon system finder, no PVP, just an insult to a life long Diablo fan

I won't say Diablo 4 is exactly tailored for those who prefer a laid-back gaming experience, so if that's your vibe, it might not be your cup of tea. I have many mates that struggle to get through the campaign but we boost them. Personally, I found myself hitting level 50 within a day and a half, grinding through Domhainne Tunnels solo before diving into clan activities, mainly helping out with capstones. It wasn't until I reached level 70 or 80 when my build came together that I really started enjoying the season and embracing the journey aspect of it. You've got a three-month window to complete your journey, but some of us blaze through it in a week, eager to move on to the next game. I get it, time is precious and limited. Despite its shortcomings, this season feels like an improvement over the first, with developers gradually adding new features. It's not perfect, but it's decent for a quarterly cycle. Still, there's a whole slew of other games calling my name, so we tend to speed through it as swiftly as possible. I play Sorc... Leveling with Sorcerer is also quick...
